Consider this, the people on the boat with Jonah, begged him to pray to his God that the storm would stop… and Jonah didn’t. His suggestion was throw him in the sea… that is exactly what they did. The Bible says while he was in the belly of the fish that he begins to cry out to God. We are a lot more like Jonah than we realize. Unfortunately, there are a lot of us who only cry out to God when we are in the deepest darkest place we’ve ever been in.
