Part-time Position for the Avilla/Zion Community Garden.

Employee must be 18 years of age or older.
6 to 8 hours a week. Hours are flexible.
Work with the gardeners to solve problems they may encounter.
Weeding and maintaining appear of the garden. Light landscaping including w**d eating.
Starting pay is $12.00 per hour paid monthly.
March thru Nov. 15

Tuesday, February 27th
and Tuesday, March 19th, 2024
in the Church Fellowship Hall at 6:00 pm. If you would like to sign up for a garden plot, please plan to attend.

Garden mtg. at 6:30 Tuesday March 28, 2023 in the garden and not at the fellowship Hall. We will have Plants for you to plant in the garden beds. also some seeds. We will have garden contracts if you have not filled one out. Come and meet your fellow gardeners.

Thank you to everyone who showed up on Saturday. we had about 26 people working all over the garden.
We got the hoop house recovered with plastic. clean-out the blackberry patch, cleaned most of the current leaves out of beds and everywhere, Cleaned out several of the w**dy beds and lots of other things.
The place looks fantastic thanks to all. Stop by and see a pretty fall garden. next week cold again and the garden will change again.
