⛪️ Five years ago, we stepped into our new building believing God had more in store for New Life Baptist Church, and today we rejoice that our building is officially paid in full. What was originally a 10-year loan was paid off in just 5 years, and after the payoff, over $407,000 was returned to the church. Even more incredible, since opening these doors, our church family has tripled in size and we have celebrated 465 baptisms — 465 lives transformed by the power of Jesus Christ‼️🎉

Yesterday, we celebrated God’s faithfulness by burning the debt note together as a church family 🔥 We are grateful for His provision, thankful for a church family that gave, served, & prayed faithfully, and excited to see what He will continue to do in the years ahead!

That’s what happens when your joy is connected to circumstances instead of Christ.

In James 1:1-12, we discover that joy is not found in easy lives or perfect situations. True joy is found in trusting God through trials, turning to Him for wisdom, and treasuring what lasts forever.
