Palyul Nyingma Buddhist Association was founded by Khenchen Tsewang Gyatso Rinpoche in Singapore under the guidance and direction of the late His Holiness Penor Rinpoche. The centre was established to propagate the Buddha Dharma, to benefit students in Singapore who wish to learn and practice the Dharma, under the Palyul Lineage.

With a joyous heart, we would like to express our gratitude to all who joined us for our Shakyamuni Puja this morning.

Please accept our sincere apology for the breakdown of the air condition system which caused a very memorable sauna/detox session together. We appreciate all your kind understanding of the situation, all of us are so grateful for rapport our students have in such situation. From the depths of our hearts, thank you, thank you and thank you 🙏🏼

We would also like to thank Kyabje Mugsang Kuchen Rinpoche for gracing Singapore with his presence, together with Ogyen Rinpoche and the Omzey for past three pujas, Jigmey Lama. Grateful that Tara Lama is also in Singapore during this time as well and special thanks to our resident Khenpo Phurba and resident Lama Orgen for planning and preparing for the puja together with all the monastics who have joined us😊

Special guest of the day is Dorje Lopon Rinchen Khandu Lama who was previously our resident lama for 12 years in Singapore, he have just recently finished the three year retreat and is back in Singapore to visit us. We are all so happy to see him again 🤗

Dear Dhamma brothers and sisters,

On this sacred day of Vesak, let’s come together to receive blessings, generate merit, and cultivate peace. We warmly welcome everyone to join our celebration!

📅 Time: 10:00 AM (Please arrive by 9:50 AM to settle in 🙏)
🍱 Simple vegetarian lunch will be served after!

✨ Program Highlights:
•Shakyamuni Buddha Puja – Accumulate vast merits.
•Medicine Buddha Puja – Pray for good health and world peace.
•Special Blessing – Kyabje Musang Kuchen Rinpoche will bless holy water with Mandrup (sacred medicine pills) to be gifted to all attendees.

We would also like to expresss our gratitude to our resident “firemen” on duty yesterday, the charcoal used are all sponsored by them and they stood in the hot sun for more than 4 hours, getting their hands dirty to ensure the fire is on point to burn Torma and other offerings, this is despite one of them feeling unwell and didn’t let us know until the puja is over.

Khenpo Phurpa shared that the King Gesar statue in the middle of the display altar is meticulously polished and hand painted by by our resident monk Lama Orgen recently for the puja today.

The cards with ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿ ཧཱུྃ (Om Ah Hung) was printed and brought back by our resident Khenpo Phurpa from his recent trip to India too ☺️

It’s always a joy seeing the beautiful flower arrangements prepared by our volunteer as she enjoy making beautiful pieces that brings a smile to people’s face.

We would like to extend our immense gratitude to all our resident Khenpo, Lama and volunteers who help to beautify our prayer hall and all those who stay back to help clean each time, when the need arise.

May we always encounter beautiful and kind souls like them at our prayer place, so that a visit to the temple is always uplifting and serene ❤️
