The Dhammakami Buddhist Society was founded in November 2007 with the aspiration to propagate the noble teachings of the Buddha, so that all can learn, practise, experience and share the teachings of the Buddha to help light the path and transform lives. And that precisely describes our fellow members at the Dhammakami Buddhist Society (DKBS) who congregate in our centre regularly to learn, practi

🌺VESAK CAMARADERIE 2026🌺

Last Sunday, Dhamma followers came together as a community to commemorate Vesak, celebrating the birth, enlightenment and passing away of the Buddha 🪷

The Vesak ceremony commenced with a Dhamma talk by DKBS’ Founder & Spiritual Advisor, Ven. K. Rathanasara, on the rare emergence of a Buddha in the world, inspiring us to practise the Dhamma diligently and make the most of this precious opportunity☀️💟

Participants also had the opportunity to make their spiritual aspirations before the Buddha and immerse themselves in the serene vibrations of the chanting of the Dhammacakkapavattana Sutta 🔊

It was a joyous occasion as Bhante launched two new children’s Dhamma books and presented them as Vesak gifts to participants and children of the Torchbearers class 📚

We are grateful to everyone who joined us for this meaningful celebration and look forward to seeing you again at our weekly Dhamma classes! 🌟🌟🌟

The Torchbearers showed love and appreciation to their parents last Sunday 🙇‍♀️🎁💝🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒

During the celebration, all the parents were touched to read handwritten cards by their children 🩵 As the Buddha mentioned that parents are our First Teachers, the children also prostrated before them to express their gratitude.
