GC3 GC3 connects churches, supporters, and mission partners to strengthen global mission. Our focus has primarily been given to disaster relief.

We inspire, connect, and assist through stories, resources, events, and opportunities to support mission work worldwide. GC3 is our brand name which represents the diverse ministries and services our three trusts provide our network of churches and mission partners. As a brand, it is used extensively in our promotional material and publications. But sitting within that brand is the strength of our

history, the passion for our current activities, the dedication of our people and the vision of our Board. GCiM
GCiM serves 150 people engaged in strategic cross-cultural mission activity in 36 countries around the world. GC Aid
GC Aid was established in 2008 to focus our attention on humanitarian needs to provide for the relief of suffering. Many of our Mission Partners and affiliated organisations are involved with these adversities as part of their daily ministries. The goal for GC Aid is to assist in the transformation of communities both within and outside New Zealand with the use of resources that we may be able to provide. Considerable funds have come through GC Aid for disasters in Australia, the Philippines, Samoa, Japan, the Horn of Africa, Christchurch and Haiti. GC Aid sincerely thanks those who have supported projects in these times of extreme need. GC Assist
GC Assist provides the physical and human resources for GC3's operations.

Many of us remember back to the 90s sad news stories about Romanian orphanages. Margie, who was working in NZ at the time, was challenged to travel to Romania to work in an orphanage.

While that time was incredibly challenging, it was also became the foundation for the work The Family Centre now does, working with at risk families to help upskill them and to thrive.

What can happen when someone believes change is possible?

In 1999, Margie first visited Romania. She had no idea that one visit would eventually lead to the establishment of The Family Centre in 2001.
What began with a desire to prevent babies and young children from entering institutional care has grown into 25 years of walking alongside vulnerable families — helping parents build confidence, supporting children to thrive, and strengthening families to stay together.
Today, The Family Centre is a Government-accredited social service, working within Romania’s highly regulated child protection and social services system.

25 years on, the goal remains the same.

We're excited to share that John Hodgkinson will be joining us for this month's Virtual Mission Partner Event, sharing what God is doing through the church in Papua New Guinea. John first served in PNG in the 1980s, teaching at a high school there, and more recently has helped build capacity in the national church office.

Nepal Flash Floods

On 26 August, flash floods swept through northern Nepal, triggered by a glacial lake outburst and torrential rain. Over 500 people have died, close to 1,000 are still missing, and 93,000 people have been affected. Homes, schools and roads have been destroyed, leaving whole communities cut off.

Our partner Alongsiders International already has local teams on the ground, reaching families who have lost everything.

Please join us in praying for those still searching for loved ones, for relief workers reaching cut-off communities, and for Alongsiders' teams as they care for the displaced. If you're able to give as well through GC3, your gift will help provide emergency food, water and shelter.

104 families. Twice a week. So much love.

A new outreach program is helping families in Liberia care for their special needs children right at home. A full time nurse visits each family to see what they need, whether it's a ride to therapy, food on the table, or nutritional guidance.

Mission Partners Darron and Suzie are seeing it firsthand: 104 families now bring their children in twice a week to join the therapy sessions.

It's beautiful to watch unfold.
