We look forward to reviewing April 2026 General Conference this weekend, for counsel and direction we will be able to receive personal revelation and revelation for the church through the Lord's messengers to guide us safely home through the spiritual and physical storms of mortality.
Saturday is going to be pretty calm, but Saturday night and Sunday is set to be very wet and windy across the whole of the North Island. We will be holding the Saturday Sessions of General Conference at 91 Tuhikaramea Road for everyone to enjoy together and sustaining President Dallin H. Oakes and learning together from on high.
We are having a shared lunch today between the sessions at 12:30pm with the full time missionaries and all wanting to attend in person. Please bring some lunch food to share.
The weather is expected to get more severe on Sunday and as precaution we have decided not to have the Sunday Sessions of Conference at the chapel, to reduce safety risk of driving on roads and general safety.
Please check on all those you love and minister to, so they are aware of the severe weather warnings and are as prepared as they can be for protection of their families and property. Having supply of water, food and light for any power issues.
