Greeting in the Name of Jesus Christ.
Continuation of 'PRAYER' Bible Study.
Today, we are going look at some of the reasons why no answer to PRAYER, and we have to look at what the Bible says about these problems and what ways we need to solve it in our life.
1. By asking for the wrong reason.
"When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasure.
James 4:3.
2. By despising the law [God's Word.]
"He who turns away his ears from listening to the law, even his prayer is an abomination."
Proverbs 28:9.
3. By disobedience,
"The Lord said, 'Do not go up or fight them..., but you rebelled against the command of the Lord ..., then you returned and wept but the Lord did not listen to your voice, or give ear to you."
Deuteronomy 1:42-45.
4. By impatience,
"God is the rewarder of them that diligently seek Him."
Hebrews 11:6b.
5. By indifference,
"Insolent men delight in their insolence; stupid men hate knowledge. When they call upon Me, I will not answer them; when they search for Me, they shall not find Me."
Proverbs 1:27-28.
6. By neglect of mercy,
"He who shut his ears to the cry of the poor will also cry himself and not be answer."
Proverbs 21:13.
7. By not honoring one another,
"Grant her honor as a fellow-heir of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered."
1 Peter 3:7b.
8. By setting up idols, such as anything that you put first than God in your heart,
"Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their hearts and put wicked stumbling blocks before their faces. Should I let them inquire of me at all?"
Ezekiel 14:3.
9. By stubbornness,
"But they refused to pay attention, stubbornly they turned their back and stopped up their ears. They made their hearts as hard as flint and would not listen to the law or to the words that Lord Almighty had sent by His Spirit through the earlier prophets. So, the Lord Almighty was very angry. When I called, they do not listen; so, when they called, I would not listen,' says the Lord Almighty."
Zechariah 7:11-13.
10. By unbelief,
"Without faith is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is."
Hebrews 11:6a.
11. By unconfessed sin,
"He would not have listened if I had not confessed my sin."
Psalm 66:18.
12. By unforgiveness,
"And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you and your sins." Mark 11:25-26.
In Jesus Name, Amen! to be continued.
