We praise God for a Successful Effort in Mzondo Village
Mzondo Village, Lilongwe
May 24, 2026
The two-week effort, sponsored by the Lilongwe North West District Ministerial Association, has concluded with resounding success. The event, which was held from May 10 to May 23, 2026, in Mzondo Village, Lilongwe, was led by Pastor Petro Micheal Gomani, who is also the District Pastor.
During the effort, more than 70 individuals made a significant commitment by accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Many attendees chose to leave their former churches, were baptized, and joined the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. This demonstrates not only the spiritual impact of the effort but also the growth of the church in the community dedicated to their faith.
In his closing remarks, Pastor Gomani emphasized the importance of supporting the new members of the church. He urged the existing members of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in the village to actively engage with and nurture these newcomers, ensuring they remain steadfast in their faith and do not revert to their old ways.
Furthermore, Elder Richard Ling'omba, the Chairperson of the organizing committee and a member of Area 25 SDA Church, noted that, although there were some challenges, he was grateful for the support received from the Elders. The elders successfully raised funds for the effort, achieving their financial goals.
Elder Ling'omba also extended heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in making the effort a success, including the dedicated media teams from Dzenza SDA Church and Area 25 SDA Church, who streamed live the entire event on their pages, bringing the message to a broader audience.
The Lilongwe North West District comprises several organized churches including Area 25 SDA Church, Sector 7 SDA Church, Dzenza SDA Church, Thamanda SDA Church, Area 50 SDA Church, Sector 8 SDA Church, Matanda SDA Church, and Maranatha SDA Church.
This effort stands as a testament to the dedication of the Lilongwe North West District Ministerial Association and the power of faith to change lives.
