TITLE. : JEHOVAH SABAOTH – THE LORD WHO FIGHTS FOR US

1. God Fights Certain Battles for Us
Scripture: Book of Joshua 10:11
Joshua was fighting, and the enemies were running away.
But God said, “No, I will do something.”
The Lord dropped large stones from heaven upon the enemies.
More enemies died from the stones than from Israel’s swords.
👉 There are battles where God says, “Stand still — I will fight this one.”
Sometimes we want to fight, but God wants us to trust Him.

2. The Battle Belongs to the Lord
There are battles we are not meant to fight physically or emotionally.

God Himself steps in.

The Levite declared that Israel would not fight — God would fight for them.
When God fights, victory is guaranteed.

3. Hannah’s Story – When the Enemy Provokes
Reference: Book of 1 Samuel
Hannah was miserable and deeply troubled.
She ate little and wept often.
Her enemy provoked her constantly, especially when going to worship.

👉 The enemy will try to attack you when it is time to worship.
👉 Anything that tries to stop you from going to the house of the Lord must not succeed.
Instead of revenge, Hannah took her pain to God.

4. The Will of God Is Full Joy
Scripture: Gospel of John 16:24
“Ask in My name and your joy shall be full.”
God’s will is for us to have full joy.
Anything that steals our joy must be cancelled in Jesus’ name.
Hannah got tired of suffering and made a vow to the Lord — and God answered her.

✨ Jehovah Sabaoth – The Lord of Hosts
Meaning: The God who fights battles.

1. The Battle Is the Lord’s
Scripture: Book of 1 Samuel 17:45
David declared:
“The battle is the Lord’s.”
As long as we are children of God, He will fight for us.
We do not fight in our own strength.

2. Don’t Take Offense
Hannah did not revenge what Peninnah said.
She refused to fight flesh and blood.
👉 Do not take offense when people provoke you.
👉 Take every problem to the Lord.

3. God Goes Before Us
Scripture: Book of Joshua 5:13
God sent a man to assure Joshua that the Lord of Hosts would fight for him.
All the battles ahead of us will be fought by Jehovah Sabaoth.

4. Walk in Holiness
Jehovah Sabaoth fights for those who walk with Him.
He calls us to live holy lives.
Victory comes through obedience.

🔥 KEY LESSONS

-Some battles require action; others require trust.
-When provoked, pray instead of reacting.

SERMON TITLE:
Accessing God’s Blessings Through Faith and Persistence

1. God’s Blessings Require Active Faith
The blessing of the Lord depends on how active a person is in faith.
God’s promises are delayed when we operate in fear or unbelief.
Faith must be lived out, not just believed.

📖 Luke 4:25–27
2. Sacrifice and Acknowledging God Opens Doors

God desires our obedience, sacrifice, and offerings as an act of honor.
Sacrifice shows trust and acknowledgment of God’s lordship.

📖 Genesis 3:5
3. Persistence Unlocks Hidden Blessings
Many believers give up too quickly when answers delay.
Some blessings require a fight of faith.
Persistence proves the seriousness of our faith.

📖 Matthew 15:21–28
4. Faith Is Not Limited by Background or Situation
Jesus is not limited by tribe, gender, or status.
The Canaanite woman received her miracle because of great faith.
Faith can access blessings even when doors seem closed.

📖 Matthew 15:21–28
5. Unbelief Closes Hearts and Blocks Miracles
When hearts are closed, blessings cannot be received.
Many missed miracles because of unbelief.
Faith keeps the heart open to God’s work.

📖 Luke 4:25–27
6. Obedience Positions Us for Miracles
The widow received her miracle because she obeyed God.
Obedience plus faith brings divine results.

📖 1 Kings 17:8–16 (reference implied)
7. God Still Blesses His People Even in Hard Times
Economic hardship does not cancel God’s blessings.
God remains faithful despite circumstances.

📖 Joshua 18:3
8. Do Not Delay What God Has Already Given
God asked Israel, “How long will you wait to possess the land?”
Many believers delay blessings through hesitation and fear.

📖 Joshua 18:3
9. Jesus Has Authority Over Every Condition
Jesus healed the woman bent over for many years.
No sickness, time, or law is greater than His power.
📖 Luke 13:10–17
CONCLUSION / CALL TO ACTION
Be active in faith.
Be persistent in prayer.
Obey God fully.
Do not delay your blessing.
