Effective prayer is heartfelt, deep, and sincere communication with God. It is prayer that produces results, moves mountains, and causes great things to happen.
In Isaiah 65:24, โIt will come to pass that before they call, I will answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear.โ
The desire to talk to the Lord about our needs comes from Him. Prayer begins in the mind of God and invades our minds. He is more ready to hear than we are to pray. Our prayers please God because He has commanded us to pray.
James 4:8 says, โ๐ท๐๐๐ค ๐๐๐๐ ๐ก๐ ๐บ๐๐, ๐๐๐ ๐ป๐ ๐ค๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ค ๐๐๐๐ ๐ก๐ ๐ฆ๐๐ข.โ
God wants all His children to pray effectively. We address Him as Father. (Matthew 6:9)

Using the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6 as a model:

Daniel prayed and fasted for 21 days. (Daniel 9) The King of Persia delayed his prayer, but God heard him the first day of his prayer. God works through our prayers.

Moses asked God for His presence to go with Israel (Exodus 33:14โ15).
We need God's presence in our churches, jobs, families, finances, and health.
Psalm 37:23 says, "The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and He delights in his way."

- We are invited to ask. (John 16:24)
- Prayer is a responsibility. Prayerlessness is sin. (1 Samuel 12:23)
- People depend on our prayers. (Romans 15:30)
