Kids playing football in Juba, South Sudan.

I took this video in one of the neighbourhoods in Juba. These kids play every single day in this field to keep themselves busy and away from trouble. There are gangs in Juba who can easily recruit these children if they are left to idle around. Most of the homes do not have electricity, so there are no TV sets or gadgets for entertainment. This is also entertainment for those who are not playing.

Girls football teams in Mundri. FLY SPORTS team is the one in red and white uniform. We are hoping to get them their own set of uniforms. They are currently borrowing from the boys team.

As we watch the World Cup, we think of the young men we are coaching in football. The sports keeps them away from the streets and crime. It also opens their eyes to the love of Christ.

Manny was in Mundri recently and managed to take photos of different teams, either practicing or playing friendly matches.
The teams are increasing but there is a great need for footballs.
if we could get 100 footballs to Mundri, it would be a great help.
