THE RESTORATION OF OUR TALENTS

One of the greatest tragedies in life is not failure, poverty or hardship; it is carrying a God-given gift and never releasing it. Many people still show up, but deep inside their fire has gone out, buried by fear, discouragement, pain or disappointment. Yet God is a restorer, and His promise still stands: “I will restore to you the years the locust has eaten” (Joel 2:25).
Your gift is not dead; it is only waiting to be awakened. Whether it is leadership, worship, teaching, service or creativity, every gift has purpose and impact in God’s kingdom. This is your moment to return to God, stir up what is within you, and start again because someone’s life is connected to your obedience. Don’t compare, don’t quit, and don’t stay silent. This is your season to rise again; your fire will burn again, your purpose will live again, and you will not die empty.

The sermon “Restoration of Our Talents” highlights that God has already entrusted us with power and authority, not to be ignored, but actively used. This calling flows from the truth that each person carries a divine blueprint, a deposit placed within us as those created in God’s likeness.

Within the body of Christ, every individual has a unique role, and when each part functions as intended, the whole is strengthened.

Yet purpose often attracts resistance. The message explains that spiritual opposition and “sifting” in areas like relationships, business, and personal life are not signs of failure, but evidence of value. In such seasons, there is a real temptation to retreat into familiar but unproductive patterns, allowing pressure to silence and bury our gifts.

However, just as the cross was not the end, defeat is not our portion. Believers are called to rise, return to their mission, and trust that their God-given deposit remains intact because restoration is not future hope alone, it is available now.

Old School Sunday hit different today. 📼 What has life been sifting out of you lately? 🤔🤔
Rev. Lily Kasika reminded us that the 12 disciples were sifted too and Jesus was already praying for them before they even fell.

The deposit God placed in you is still intact. Your talent, your purpose, your identity? Still on the table. Still God’s. Don’t go back. Restore. 🎞️

RESTORED BY GRACE

Today’s message was a simple but powerful reminder: God hasn’t forgotten you.

Mephibosheth had lost everything, his family, his place, even his ability to walk. He was hiding, expecting nothing from life. But the king still called him by name and showed him kindness.

That’s how grace works.

Not because we deserve it.

Not because we have it all together.

But because God chooses us anyway.

From brokenness to belonging.

From fear to peace.

From hiding to being seen.

No matter what you’ve lost or where you are right now… God is still restoring.

You are not forgotten.
