We view the local church as the place where people in the community come to get connected with God and one another.

🌟 Rejoice, for He is risen! 🌟

As we celebrate this beautiful Easter Sunday, let's reflect on the profound words of Mathew 28:6: "He is not here; he has risen, just as he said." Let this powerful message fill our hearts with hope, joy, and gratitude. May His resurrection inspire us to embrace new beginnings, to cherish the blessings in our lives, and to spread love and kindness wherever we go. He is Risen! Hallelujah!

PRAYER:
Dear Lord, we thank You for the love You have poured out on us through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. May His resurrection be a source of inspiration and renewal for us all. Help us to grasp the depth of your love and the power of redemption. May our days be filled with the hope of life and the joy of victory, for on the cross, you said it is finished. May we learn to lean on you and may the Holy Spirit guide us every day. Amen!!

Dear Lord Jesus, we thank You for the sacrifice You made on the cross. Because of You, we are no longer bound to sin. Thank You that we no longer fear death and eternal separation from You because of what You’ve done for us. Thank You for making us righteous before You. We are grateful for Your grace and this incomparable gift. Amen.

Day 1 of the Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ -Kenya Annual General meeting at Sansousa Hotel, Nairobi. The meeting has brought together congregational leaders from across the country in a two day meeting. The event is graced by WELS president, Mark Schroeder, WELS head of world Missions Schlomer, Prof. Sorum and One Africa Team, Howard Mohlke.

God answers prayer, HE hears you when you call! What is your prayer this coming week, what would you like God to do for you?

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I come before You Oh Lord, my God, thanking You for waking me up this morning to embrace the sunlight that shoots down from the heavens.

Thank You for giving me the health and strength I need to overcome every stronghold in my life. And thank You for loving me unconditionally in the times when I may have failed You. Guide me this day and everyday and walk with me in your everlasting grace. Amen!!

What branches do you want the Lord to cut off and which do you want him to prune. Tell Him, and He who is faithful will hear your cry and come to your aid. Amen.
