- The enemy will always bring a challenge into a believer's life, but have a victor's mindset.

- Matthew 4:3; Jesus is tempted during the fast but Jesus filled with wisdom from above answers as led by the Spirit.
- Jesus overcame by quoting the Scriptures.He understood the Word.
* Matthew 16:21-23;
- Satan masquerades as an angel of light as he did through Peter, who asked Jesus not to go die on the cross.
- Have discernment to know when Satan speaks through people and learn to rebuke his works.
- Wait on the Lord, He is faithful to answer you on your day of need.
* Proverbs 18:21;Power of life and death are in your tongue. Speak life.
* Job 22:28; You will also declare a thing and it shall be established for you.
*Matthew 17:20; Faith as little as a mustard seed has ability to do much.
* God fights our battles but passes the victory to us.
- There was a fourth man in the fire when Daniel and his friends were thrown but when they came out they were only 3.

What is the state of our hearts?

*‎Numbers 23:19 — God is not a man that He should lie or change His mind. What He says, He will surely do.*

*Romans 8:31 — If God is for us, who can be against us?*

*John 19:30 — It is finished.*

† Because God has spoken,His word shall be established in your life.
† Your current condition does not have a final authority over what God will do in your life.
† The state of your heart will determine the friends that you walk with.Let us invest in our hearts.
† The marks in your life eg (hurt,sorrow, loss) shall not determine how high you go in the kingdom of God.
† God gives you the promise before the evidence.
† David received the anointing before becoming King.
† Faith believes God's word before the promise is fulfilled
† Delay does not mean denial.
† Don't abandon God's promise before it is fulfilled.
† Don't quit before you get your testimony.
_It is well with our souls_
† Faith says before I see an answer I know it is settled.
† Your dream may appear dead but God is still alive.
† If God is still alive ,then your story is still being written.

*Genesis 50:20 — What others meant for evil, God used for good, turning it into something that would save and help many people.*

† Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of Joy

Key Text(s): Romans 9:10-18
* [NLT] - Romans 9:15 For God said to Moses, “I will show mercy to anyone I choose, and I will show compassion to anyone I choose.”
* Therefore God has mercy on whom He wants to have mercy, and he gardens whom he wants to harden.
- Genesis 49; Reuben you are my firstborn, my might, the first sign of my strength
- A firstborn represents the strength of the parents.
- Grace is the free gift of kindness from God.
- The favor of God determines the limit of one's destiny.
- Don't compete, ask God for mercy.
* 1 Corinthians 15:10; I am what I am because of the grace of God.
- God's favor can turn a slave into a mayor in the throne like it did for Joseph.
* Exodus 3:21;...And I will make the Egyptians favorably disposed towards the children of Israel.
* Our destinies are not dependent on how speedy or fast we are.
* Ecclesiastes 9:11; I have observed something else under the sun. The fastest runner doesn’t always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn’t always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry, and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don’t always lead successful lives. It is all decided by chance, by being in the right place at the right time.
*If you want to access God's favor:-
1. Put God's interests before your own.
* Psalms 102:13-15
Be good to people; without taking advantage of other people's kindness.
* Proverbs 3:2-4; Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart.
- Proverbs 12:2; Matthew 7:9 Do to others what you want done to you.
Show gratitude to God for what He has done or even what He's yet to do.
- Psalms 67:5; Ungratefulness blocks the channel of God's favor to your life.
Anointing breaks the yoke.
- Acts 10:38; How God anointed Jesus Christ of Nazareth who went about doing good.
-Psalms 45:7;- Anointing gives you a good smell that attracts the favor of God wherever you go.

- The wisdom of God supersedes any other wisdoms like intellectual, diabolical, natural wisdoms.
- The ancient wisdom existed way before even creation.
* Daniel 2:27; Daniel was able to solve the problem the king had because he had wisdom.
* Proverbs 21:22; One who is wise can go up against the city of the mighty and pull down the stronghold in which they trust.
- Have confidence.
