“He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted.” : Isaiah 61:1
Today, we pray for every first responder and disaster-relief volunteer serving after a crisis.
Father, meet them in their exhaustion. Hold them through trauma, heartbreaking loss, and a need greater than any one person can carry. Protect their bodies, steady their minds, and renew their compassion. Help them receive the rest, professional care, trusted community, and ongoing support they need. Remind them they do not have to carry this burden alone.
Lord, strengthen every team working toward relief and restoration. Bring comfort to affected families and wisdom to those making urgent decisions. May courage be sustained by grace, and may no one suffer in silence. 🙏
If you would like us to carry a prayer for a responder, volunteer, family, or community to Jerusalem, Holy Land Prayer can print it and physically place it inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. A priest prays over the request, candles are lit on behalf of the person, and photos document the prayer and candles inside the Church. A portion of every order is donated to the Church. This is a sacred act of support: not a promise of an outcome.
