Fisher House is the Catholic Chaplaincy
to the University of Cambridge. Fisher House is the Catholic Chaplaincy to the University of Cambridge.

We're a community of Catholic members of the University, and our welcome friends, who come together to worship, socialise, and nurture our faith. In short, we are the collective spiritual home of Catholic members of the University of Cambridge, from undergraduates to fellows. As well as weekday and Sunday Masses, we host a wide range of student groups that meet regularly during term-time, from our all-conquering football team to literary discussion groups. Highlights of Michaelmas Week 1-3.5: Fresher's lunch, Vatican II (details on slide 8), Fresher's Brunch (yes, we love our Freshers), meeting Revd. Ryan, Dolphins, Bethany (the person and the group), the Black Swan Bar, a College Mass, His Holiness being cleared of cancer, and re-connecting with our friends after a looooong summer vacation.

Join us this Tuesday evening for our first Apologia of the academic year!! Delivered by our very own Fr Paul, this Apologia will focus on 'Living our Catholic Faith at Cambridge.' As always, a home-cooked dinner will be served at 7pm, the talk will begin at 8pm, Compline at 9pm and the Black Swan Bar will be open afterwards till late🍷🍺

Throwback to our Schola Cantorum singing the Sanctus from Victoria's 'Missa Quarti Toni'. Our Schola supports the 9:30 Sunday Mass with Gregorian Chant and Polyphony.

If you're a student who wants to get involved, the Schola is happy to accept new members, just speak to Richard, the director, after Mass.

If you're looking for the perfect way to finish off your May Week, look no further than our Garden Party, which will be hosted tomorrow at 3:30pm!

Apologia may have ended for this academic year, but we'll still be running events to help support you during this exam season!

From this Tuesday onwards, we'll be gathering in the Fisher Room at 7pm to have dinner together. Compline will begin at 8pm, leaving enough time to get back to the books (or socialise afterwards for those lucky enough to be done with exams).
