These "sibling" kneelers were completed, from start to finish, in the last month. While we would never jump ahead in the liturgical calendar, we will certainly be ready when the appropriate season arrives!

Sunday, 6 September

For the Fourteenth Sunday after Trinity, we welcome the Rev'd Dr Debs Davies as celebrant and preacher at our 11am Sung Eucharist. We also look forward to the return of our full choir, under the direction of Simon Brown this week.

Meanwhile, the Rector returns during the week, with Morning and Evening Prayer resuming from Tuesday, 8 September.

Join us on the Thirteenth Sunday after Trinity for our 11am Sung Eucharist, with the Rev'd Dr Cally Hammond celebrating and preaching.

Almighty and most merciful God, of whose only gift it cometh that they faithful people do unto thee true and laudable service: Grant, we beseech thee, that we may so faithfully serve thee in this life, that we fail not finally to attain thy heavenly promises; through the merits of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Join us on the Twelfth Sunday after Trinity for our service of Holy Communion, at 11am. The Rev'd Dr Cally Hammond will celebrate, and the Rev'd Dr Philip Stewart will preach.

We will also have another pop-up choir led by Tim Brown, with a rehearsal beginning at 9.30. All welcome to join!

Fitz and Arlo enjoyed our 8am Eucharist this morning! They were easily the most enthusiastic among the congregation, but also very well behaved.

We keep the Eleventh Sunday after Trinity this week, with two Sunday morning services:

8.00 - Holy Communion (celebrated by the Rev'd Dr Cally Hammond)

11.00 - Mattins (officiated by the Rev'd Dr Philip Stewart, Assistant Curate at St Botolph's, and with a sermon from the Rev'd Dr Debs Davies, Tutor in Mission at Ridley Hall, Cambridge).

All are welcome for tea, coffee, and biscuits after the 11am service!

Please join us tomorrow, 9 August, for our Sung Eucharist service at 11am on the 10th Sunday after Trinity. All are welcome for tea and coffee after the service, as always!

Our Rector, Fr Jonathan, will take summer leave from Monday 10 August for the rest of the month. We will suspend weekday services until September, but Sunday services will continue as usual. We look forward to seeing those of you who are still in Cambridge over the summer!

SCHEDULE UPDATE: Unfortunately, we have to cancel tomorrow's service of Holy Communion (Wednesday, 5 August at 10.30am).

Morning prayer (9am) and evening prayer (4pm) will continue as usual.

Our book sale today raised £1000, which supports the upkeep of the church. Thank you to everyone who helped with setting up and packing away, who bakes cake and brownies or made tea and coffee, and those who helped throughout the day. We are grateful to everyone who came to see St Botolph's, to browse, and those who took a few books home with them!

We hope you will join us tomorrow morning, as we keep the Ninth Sunday after Trinity at our 11am Sung Eucharist.
