With the first week of Lent term, a full calendar of chapel activities also begins: weekly Tuesday and Thursday Evensong (6:15pm), Sunday Holy Communion (10:00am) and Choral Evensong (6:00pm) with preceding music recital (5:25) and post-chapel drinks and supper. Evensong preaching this term considers "Encountering God."

The Rt Rev'd Andrew Watson, Bishop of Guildford and musician, will speak on "God and Music."

Professor Russell Cowburn, Professor of Experimental Physics at Cavendish Laboratory, will preach on the topic of "God and Science."

A warm welcome to new and returning Clare students!

Tomorrow, Sunday 6th October at 9:30am in the chapel there will be a short Freshers’ Welcome Service for new students on the theme of “A New Beginning.”

There will be hymns, prayers, readings, and short reflections from the Dean and the MCR and UCS presidents.

**Please note that this service is not open to the public.**
This term’s regular Choral Evensong services (to which visitors are welcome!) begin from Thursday.
