Here’s a reminder that the monthly Andrewes Fellowship Mass will take place this coming Saturday (1:00pm at St Clement’s). The Rev Jamie Franklin of St George in the Meadows, Nottingham will be preaching.

For those of you who have not yet encountered the Andrewes Fellowship, here is a brief description:

The Andrews Fellowship is a devotional society in the Church of England that calls men and women to prayer, study, and the sacraments. Members pray the English offices and rites, study Holy Scripture and the writings of Anglican divines and the Fathers, and commit to regular communication. Bishop Andrewes acts as a patron and guide for our members in his evangelical commitment to preach the good news and study scripture, and his Catholic devotion to the sacraments and the Fathers.

The Edmund Wood Society would like to express our sincere condolences to the Roman Catholic community at Fisher House in Cambridge upon the death of Monsignor Mark Langham. Monsignor Langham was well known for his work to improve Anglican and Roman Catholic relations, in the Vatican. He was also a vibrant part of the Cambridge community and a shining example of Christian living, grace, and ministry. He will be sorely missed. May light eternal shine upon him, may he rest in peace.
