🚌 HELP US RAISE $10,000 TO GET OUR WARM-UP BUS BACK ON THE ROAD!
For the past 4 winters, Church in the Hood Ministries has been going out into the cold nights of Saskatoon to serve people experiencing homelessness and those who simply need a warm place, some food, and hope.
Over the years, we’ve been blessed with 3 buses — one for Saskatoon, one for North Battleford, and one for Prince Albert. Now they need some TLC before they can fully serve our communities.
Our first goal is to raise $10,000 to completely rebuild and prepare one bus for this winter.
This bus needs a hard reset. The inside has already been completely gutted and is ready for a brand-new layout. The funds raised will help us:
• Sand, prep and professionally paint the exterior so it no longer looks like a school bus
• Build new seating inside
• Add built-in storage for winter clothing, supplies and outreach gear
• Complete the interior walls, flooring and finishing
• Take care of repairs and other costs needed to get the bus safe, warm and road-ready
Our goal is to raise at least 50% — $5,000 — by the beginning of October. If we can reach that milestone, we should be able to get the work moving and have the bus ready for the first snowfall.
Every donation matters. Whether it’s $10, $25, $50, $100 or more, it all helps us get closer to putting this bus back on the streets where it can serve people who need it most.
If you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser is another huge way you can help.
Our goal: $10,000. One bus. One winter. A whole lot of hope. 🚌❤️
