As you know we been in Regina a few times this summer giving back to the community, we have a grandmother who was living in a fully furnished house and just moved into a new place, she is starting from the ground up , if anyone has any beds, couche, table n chairs, kitchen items , basically is in need for everything

Hey Church in the Hood family! ❤️

Just wanted to share a quick update on what’s coming up.

📍 Wednesday, August 12 we’ll be set up in the City Centre Church parking lot starting at 5:00 PM. We’ll be sharing some music, serving hot dogs, and spending time with our community. We’d love to see you there!

📍 August 20 we’ll be back in Regina for an outreach in the park.

📍 September 4 we’ll be heading to North Battleford for another Church in the Hood outreach.

We’ll be posting event posters with all the details very soon, so keep an eye on the page!

It’s hard to believe it’s already August. That also means winter is just around the corner. Over the next few weeks we’ll be getting our outreach buses ready by sanding and repainting the exterior, along with giving the inside a full renovation so they’re ready to serve people through the cold months ahead.

Thank you to everyone who continues to pray, volunteer, donate, and support this ministry. Because of you, we’re able to keep bringing hope, practical help, and the love of Jesus to our communities.

There are moments in life when simple acts of kindness make all the difference.

As many of you know, Jessica has been courageously battling cancer. These past two months have been filled with appointments, treatments, uncertainty, and prayers. Through it all, we have been incredibly blessed by the generosity of the Ramada Saskatoon.

We want to sincerely thank the Ramada for providing our family with a room during this difficult season and for helping with meals. Your kindness has lifted a burden off our shoulders and reminded us that God often works through the compassion of others. We will never forget the love and support you’ve shown our family.

Tomorrow is a big day. Jessica will receive the results from the past two months of treatment. It’s the halfway point in this journey, and while we don’t know what tomorrow holds, we know Who holds tomorrow.

We’re asking everyone to keep Jessica in your prayers—that God would continue to strengthen her, bring healing to her body, and give our family peace no matter the outcome.

Thank you to everyone who has stood beside us, prayed for us, encouraged us, and supported us. We are truly grateful. One day at a time, one prayer at a time, and one step closer to the breakthrough we’re believing for.

God is faithful.
