In a 100-meter sprint, if you jump into your opponent's lane, you're disqualified. The spiritual race is no different.

Many people start their journey of faith with incredible vigor and energy, but then they get distracted. They let wealth chase them out of God, or let the pursuit of status consume their focus. The Word of God warns us about the 'certainty of disqualification'— if we stop following the rules of the eternal race.

The prize isn't fame or a perishable crown; it's eternal life. We are called to run with endurance, looking only unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.

Dr. Isaac Ogazi points out that many of us hide behind the excuse of 'this is my generation' to ignore eternal laws. We follow the world’s system, prioritize fleeting pleasures, and mock what is sacred. But if you cannot stop your departure from this earth, how can you debate the destination that follows?

There is a certainty of accountability. Our souls don't just evaporate; they return to the One who gave them. Every choice we make today is an investment in our eternal destination.

You can delay a flight, you can skip a train, but there is one departure none of us can reschedule. We spend months researching hotels and booking flights for a simple one-week vacation, yet we rarely give a thought to the most permanent journey we will ever take.

The reality is simple: you cannot stop your departure. It is the one appointment that is already on the calendar, even if the date is hidden from you.

But while the timing is out of your hands, the destination doesn't have to be.

Think of it like this—every day you are packing a suitcase with your choices, your faith, and your spirit.

There are ultimately only two options for where that suitcase gets unpacked in eternity.

This isn't about fear; it's about clarity. It's about looking past the temporary distractions of today and asking yourself the hardest question of all: if your flight took off right now, where exactly are you landing?

You have the power to decide that while you still have breath. Don't leave the most important trip of your existence to chance. Choose your destination before the departure chooses you.

The most dangerous deception isn't a lie you hear, it's a priority you’ve misplaced. We are living in a world designed to keep us obsessed with the surface—spending our energy on how we look, how much we pull in, and how high we can climb on a social ladder that leads nowhere. But here is the truth: the enemy’s greatest trick isn’t making you do something evil, it is simply making you distracted. He has deceived so many of us into believing that our status and our reflection in the mirror are the ultimate priorities. We spend hours perfecting the image but seconds nourishing the soul. Look at the distractions pulling you away from your spiritual destination. Are they actually worth the cost of your peace? It is time for a wake-up call. None of those things will sustain you when the world gets heavy. There is only one foundation that holds. You have to stop putting the world on a pedestal and start putting the Creator at the center. Seek first the Kingdom of God and watch how every other piece of your life finally starts to fall into place.
