We believe that Jesus will RESCUE, RECOVER, and RESTORE your life! ▼ WATCH LIVE STREAMING ▼ Sundays at 10am @ https://fafc.ca/livestream/

This Sunday our missionary friend Steven Stoffelsen, who leads City of Refuge in Guatemala with his wife Karla, stretched our faith to believe God for the impossible. After Karla shared the testimony of their second miracle baby, Steven opened up John 14, where Jesus promises that whatever we ask in His name, He will do. It is, as Steven put it, a blank check from God, signed by Jesus and guaranteed by the Father.

So often we are tempted to ask small. But as we keep the kingdom of God as our focus, take heart, and ask boldly. Whatever you have been afraid to pray for, healing, a restored family, a breakthrough, it is time to cash that check in.

When family is your focus ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Is worship just the warm-up before the message? This Sunday Pastor Adam continued his teaching on worship and reminded us it is far more than that. Praise is a gateway into the presence of God, and as Psalm 22 says, the Lord is actually enthroned on the praises of His people. When we worship, we step into the throne room of the One who holds all authority, and we partner with heaven to declare His will over our lives.

So this week, take heart, and open some doors. There may be one you have left closed, not because God shut it, but because you stopped knocking. Lift up your head, and let the King of glory come in.

"Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." 1 Thessalonians 5:18

In the full seasons and the hard ones, God has been good. Happy Thanksgiving, church family. We're so thankful for you! 🍂

10/11/2026

Thanksgiving is about far more than the turkey. This Sunday Pastor Adam reminded us that gratitude is actually the sibling of faith. Just as Jesus gave thanks over a few loaves and fish before God multiplied them, thanksgiving has a way of shifting our hearts away from what we lack and toward the One who can do more than we could ask. You simply cannot grumble and walk in faith at the same time.

So this week, take heart, and start with thanks. Give God praise for what He has already done, thank the people He has placed around you, and watch how gratitude changes everything.

This morning, Pastor Adam opened up the throne room of Revelation and reminded us that we worship for one reason above all: God is worthy. The living creatures who see Him most clearly have never once grown tired of crying, "Holy, holy, holy."

So when life gets confusing or heavy this week, take heart, and let worship be your first response rather than your last. As Pastor Adam shared from his own hardest seasons, sometimes you simply have to worship your way through whatever comes.

We listen, we love, we honour our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ who grieve and mourn. Today, we remember and we cover you in prayer!

Today, we remember.

We honour the Indigenous children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, and the families and communities who continue to carry the deep pain and lasting impact of the injustices done to Indigenous children through Canada’s residential schools.

We pray for continued healing, restoration and reconciliation across our nation, the kind of reconciliation that only God can bring by His grace and through the work of His Spirit.

With humble hearts, we remember, we listen and we pray. May the Holy Spirit give us eyes to see, ears to truly hear and hearts moved with compassion. May we be people who walk humbly, pursue justice and extend mercy.

“But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!”
Amos 5:24

REVIVE 2026 ended with our guest, Pastor Robert Morales from Guatemala, bringing a powerful word: do nothing without the Holy Spirit.

Before the early church did anything, Jesus told them to wait in the city until they were clothed with power from on high. Pastor Robert reminded us that we are simply vessels of clay, and the treasure is not our own strength or strategy, but the presence of God filling us.

We know that each and every one of us received something we will carry with us from REVIVE 2026!
