📕 D I D you ever wonder how one person can read a portion of scripture and get a totally different idea of it, as compared to another who reads the same scripture? All of us come to the Word of God with pre-conceived ideas, experiences & prior beliefs. So it's of vital importance we have a wholistic way of study based upon 4 principles.
1. We must base our beliefs on the life, ministry & words of the Truth Person, Jesus Christ. Not on our church, denomination or doctrine. Jesus never used experiences of others as His plumbline. He always spoke the scriptures, the "It is written" & said He came to reveal the Father's will.
2. The New Covenant Jesus wrought on the Cross is now God's Will for humanity. The Old Covenant was a "babysitter" until the promised Messiah (the last Adam) could pay the price for our sin & restore and redeem humanity back to the original plan in the Garden of Eden. So when we read the Old Testament, we realize it is always pointing to the inauguration of the New Creation reality that 2 Corinthians 5 refers to.
3. When we cut and paste the scriptures to form doctrines it will be skewed. We must immerse ourselves in scripture and let it interpret our lives. The context is not the verse, or the chapter, it is the entire letter or book of the Bible.
Once we have context, we can study chapters & then verses.
4. We should study the Bible to
Know God first of all. To be flooded with the light of Who He is. And to study to show ourselves approved by Him. If we are believing & teaching the Bible as God's inspired Word, then signs & wonders will follow.

GLEANINGS & TEACHING from our conference : "I would remind you to stir up (rekindle the embers of, fan the flame of, and keep burning) the [gracious] gift of God, [the inner fire] that is in you by means of the laying on of my hands..." 2 Timothy 1:6
We must rekindle the flame already within us!
When things are not changing, my problem is not how much I am fasting, or how much I am praying, it is the alignment that must change. For example we often ask God to humble us.. but He says we must "humble ourselves under His mighty hand, and He will exalt us in due time." James 4:10
Why do we ask God to do what He has already done! Or why do we ask God to do what He has already told us to do?
God is waiting for us to be aligned to His truth!
The trials we face that the enemy slings in our face are not to be our teacher even though they prove our patience & endurance. God sent the Holy Spirit to be our teacher. "But the One Who is coming to stand by you, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in my name, will be your Teacher and will bring to your minds all that I have said to you." John 14:6. If we listen to Holy Spirit 1st of all, we will not have to sling thru the mud over and over. Persecution for our faith is one thing, but continually being dragged thru the school of hard knocks is not aligning ourself with wisdom from on high. Ask for wisdom when encountering a challenge or trial. "If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him." James 1:5

While we celebrate Who was on the Cross & Rose again, let’s not forget we celebrate The God WHO IS… He is With us today, In us today, for us, to deliver, heal, make whole, make alive, cause life to spring forth!

I AM is in our midst to bring to pass all the fullness of every promise given, to release us from every sickness or pain, every offense, every fear, every dark thing that would try to hinder you. JESUS CHRIST IS LORD! Now we can receive what we believe, NOW!!!
