What does freedom in Christ really look like when life is still hard?

Today, Pastor Richard continued our Grounded in the Faith journey through Romans, reminding us that even in suffering, we have hope—and the Spirit is with us. 🙏

📖 Romans 8:18–27

Lynn Armstrong usually attends our Traditional Service, but STAY 'N' CHAT gives her the opportunity to connect with people from across our church family, discover different cultures and stories, and, of course, enjoy some great food!

As Lynn says, it’s a chance to learn about others—and let them learn about you.

Come experience it for yourself!

Our Combined Services remind us of something beautiful: we may worship in different ways—some in our Traditional gathering, others in the Contemporary gathering. We come from different places around the world and speak many languages, but when we come together, we are one church—united by the same faith and praying to the same God. 🤍

Many stories. Many voices. One family in Christ. 🌎🙏

💧 One step can tell a powerful story of faith.

Relive this special Sunday and reflect on what baptism means: choosing to follow Jesus and publicly declaring the new life we have in Him.

If you’re ready—or simply have questions—we’d love to walk with you. ❤

Explore Rev. David Morehouse’s message on believer’s baptism and celebrate three powerful stories of faith, new life, and commitment to Jesus at First Baptist Moncton.

✨ This Sunday, Mark, Juan Pablo and Catalina stepped into the waters of baptism, surrounded by family, friends, and a church family celebrating with them.

Mark McKinnon returned to be baptized surrounded by family and friends before continuing his journey in Newfoundland, where he serves in the Canadian military and is part of The Crossing Church.

For Juan Pablo Perez and Catalina Ortiz, baptism marked something especially meaningful before returning to Colombia—a public declaration of their faith and a beautiful way to close this chapter surrounded by the church family that has been part of their journey with Christ.

As Rev. David Morehouse reminded us: first we believe, then we take the step. 🙌

If you’re ready to take the next step—or simply have questions—we’d love to talk with you.
