"He's is in a better place" We hear this at funerals as if it were true of everyone.
The TRUTH is...if he wasn't saved he is in a far worse place....FOREVER.
Attendee: Pastor, can I request a prayer?
Pastor: Sure, what is that?
Attendee: My cousin has died.
Pastor: What do you want to pray for?
Attendee: He died last week. Pray that God will guide him in the afterlife.
Pastor: Oh ... suppose there is an exam, when should you pray, before the exam or after?
Attendee: Of course before the exam ...
Pastor: Right. It's like that, when you pray after the exam, it's like you're telling God to change the grades. That is not possible because God is faithful. he cannot deceive the result.
Similarly, when we die, the exam is over. We can no longer change the outcome of our decision after death...only while we are still alive is there hope.
says Hebrews 9:27, "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:"
That means no second chance. I'm sorry, but that is the truth.
Attendee: Oh? Is that so? While we are still alive, fix that right away?
Pastor: Yes. I'm sorry for your relative. he can no longer be prayed for. That is why people need to understand the Gospel while they are still alive. They had to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior before it was all over.
Attendee: Okay, pastor.

Saying He or She is in a better place doesn't make it true!
Churches that teach there is still salvation after death are teaching what is contrary to Scripture and are deceiving their members.
People who believe they can be saved after death will get the greatest shock of their lives when they find out the Truth that there is NO salvation after death.
Teach the Truth because that's the only thing that can set people free! (John 8:32) "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
Rev_21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Don't be an unbeliever...repent and believe the gospel before it is too late for you!
2Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
