Thank you Tammy Brideau, Executive Director of Food and Beverage Atlantic for meeting me and sharing your thoughts on how government can play a role in improving the industry.

I was happy to share with her that to make the industry more competitive and mirror policies in place in other jurisdictions, a Liberal government would implement a wholesale pricing policy for restaurants and bars for liquor purchases in order to help struggling establishments rebound from the impact of the current pandemic.

J’étais heureux de partager avec elle que pour rendre l'industrie plus compétitive et refléter des politiques mises en place dans d'autres provinces, un gouvernement libéral va mettre en place une politique de prix de gros pour les restaurants et les bars pour l'achat d'alcool afin d'aider un secteur qui lutte pour rebondir face à l'impact de la pandémie actuelle.
