HSLC's annual service and picnic in the park is coming up! On June 14th, we'll get together at site #1 at Gold Bar Park (10955-50th St., same place as last year) to worship outside together, followed by a potluck lunch. Last Sunday was full of ACTION! We got together to learn, advocate, and work for the . Here, we're sorting donated hygiene products and assembling them into kits, ready for donation to Edmonton's unhoused peoples.

Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to this event, whether through your donations, your labour, or your willingness to learn! The rain may have moved the barbecue lunch inside, but we're not about to stay put.

Tomorrow is the ! At Holy Spirit we'll be participating with an educational session on Edmonton's unhoused people, followed by assembling kits of donations and engaging in other advocacy activities. Plan to stay after the usual 10 AM service if you'd like to take part in this work (and a hot dog barbecue), we'd love to have you!

This Sunday is the 2026 , and Holy Spirit is taking part through advocacy and action. Come for the regular 10 AM service, then stay afterwards for good work - and food and fellowship, of course.

We'll be assembling donated personal hygiene items into kits for donation, learning about houselessness in Edmonton, cleaning up the property, and eating hot dogs together! See you there.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed their time, energy, creativity, money, or presence to HSLC's Taste of May fundraiser! We had a lot of fun and raised a lot of funds, equipping us to tackle important maintenance that will let our building serve us well for years to come.
