STREAMS OF JOY INTERNATIONAL DAILY DEVOTIONAL: SEPTEMBER 5, 2026

HELPERS OF PURPOSE

“And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.” (John 2: 3)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

Our Focal Scripture speaks of that moment when Mary told Jesus that the couple whose marriage feast they were attending had no more wine to give to the guests. Mary co-opted Jesus into the personal matter of the couple, and in the end, they got help. Mary and Jesus worked in agreement to make things happen for the couple. Mary and Jesus had a conversation for help to come the way of the couple, and help came forth.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: God will trigger conversations in your favour. Men you do not know will hold conversations on how to lift you higher; men that matter will hold conversations and work in agreement to make new things happen in your life; men that have the capacity to bring solutions your way will commit themselves to the purpose of moving you forward; men will commit themselves to your interest.

That couple made efforts to provide the much they could, but their wine finished, and they were nearly about to be disgraced when Mary got Jesus involved and saved the day. The involvement of Mary and Jesus saved them from shame. Hear me again: God will send you men who will get involved in your matters and save you from negative consequences. God will position new men in your life who will save your purpose from collapse.

That couple had helpers in their party; they didn’t have spoilers who could overwhelm the helpers. Today, I pray for you: may you not be surrounded by spoilers of destiny. May you not be surrounded by men who will cause it to rain on your parade; may you not be surrounded by men who will scuttle your progress and undermine your efforts; may you not be surrounded by men whose presence will destroy your purpose and plans.

The gates of your destiny are open to men who will be committed to your purpose and plans. God is sending you men who will push your destiny forward.

Isaiah 60: 11 says: “Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.”

Declare With Me: I receive genuine helpers of destiny; no room for spoilers, in Jesus’ name!

SPEEDY HELP

“And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.” (John 2: 3)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

When the wine finished in the wedding in Cana of Galilee, Mary the mother of Jesus told Him that they had no wine. Mary did not wait for things to go out of control before seeking the intervention of Jesus. She did not wait for things to get complicated before she got Jesus to intervene. Even Jesus protested against Mary’s call for urgent intervention; so the help that came to that couple came through a helper that understood urgency.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: God is sending you helpers that understand the need for urgent intervention in your life. God will send you helpers who will help you when the help matters most; God will send you helpers who will not give you belated help; God will send you helpers whose help will arise before you face needless embarrassments; God will send you helpers who will help you speedily, urgently, and in good time.

There are things in your life that need to happen urgently, and today, I see God intervening in your matter early. I see God wiping away your tears early; I see God opening new doors for you early; I see God making things new in your life early; I see God speedily intervening in that challenge that wants to consume you; I see God granting you speedy recovery of whatsoever you have lost; I see God sending you help on time.

Today, I pass a decree: any destiny helper around you who has been postponing the help they should give you, may the Lord compel them to treat your matter like an emergency; concerning your financial, career, business, academic, family, etc. situation, I declare a divine emergency; I break the power of delay over everything that concerns you; I command the affairs of your life to receive speedy attention.

The power of delay is broken. Get set: your case shall be treated as an emergency. Your advancement is coming speedily.

Psalm 46: 5 says: “God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.”

Declare With Me: My matters shall be treated as a divine emergency; I receive speedy help and helpers, in Jesus’ name!

STREAMS OF JOY INTERNATIONAL DAILY DEVOTIONAL: SEPTEMBER 3, 2026

DIVINELY INCREASED

“And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.” (John 2: 3)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

It is instructive to observe that Jesus and His mother did not come to the wedding in Cana in order to perform a miracle. They came as guests; they came to eat and drink like others; they came to play their part in consuming whatever the couple provided for the people; Jesus came to take value from the couple, but He ended up doing a miracle that gave them more wine. The same Jesus that came to take value, brought value on board.

Friend, God is about to do a divine rearrangement: things that are supposed to deplete you will increase you; things that should subtract from you will start adding to you; things that should reduce you will start to increase you; challenges that should impoverish you will turn around and enrich you; troubles that should have been the end of the road for you will turn around and become major turning points for your greatness.

Get set: there may be people that came to take from you; God will turn their heart in your favour, and they will begin to work in your favour. The same way Jesus gave that couple more than what they could have given Him, God will cause you to have more than you could ever give your helpers of destiny. God will send you men who will give you much more than you can give them. God will send you men that will increase you.

Jesus got involved, and a marriage that was at risk of being dissolved turned around and became a marriage that provided the best wine that anyone could drink. Get set: as surely as the Lord lives, the things, challenges and people that came to reduce you will become major reminders of how the Lord turned your life around. God will cause a mighty turn around in your fortunes. God will turn the tables in your favour, unexpectedly.

The time of reduction is over; the season of increase has just begun. Welcome to your increase. Receive the messengers of your increase.

Psalm 115: 14 says: “The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.”

Declare With Me: What came to reduce me will increase me; I am divinely increased, in Jesus’ name!

NO PUBLIC SHAME

“And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.” (John 2: 3)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

Our Focal Scripture speaks of that moment when wine finished in the wedding in Cana of Galilee. In the Jewish culture during bible times, marriage ceremonies were celebrated for seven days; and if for any reason the couple could not deal with a seven-day feast, the marriage could be nullified. So, the couple in Cana were in a dire situation; they were in an embarrassing situation, but Jesus came through for them.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: God will save you from public embarrassment. God will save you from every situation that has risen to put you to shame; God will save you from every challenge that wants to make a mess of the efforts you already made; God will save you from every trap the enemy set in order to embarrass you; God will save you from troubles that have come to cause you financial embarrassment.

Lots of resources would have gone down to provide the wine and food that guests had until when the wine finished; and if that situation remained, the couple was at risk of marital nullification. So it was an embarrassment that came to make a mess of previous efforts. Hear me as I hear the Lord: every embarrassment that has come to make a mess of your previous efforts, today, let the fire of God arise and destroy it.

You will not be embarrassed by the events of life. You will not be embarrassed despite the efforts you have put in to make progress; you will not be put to shame by the same people that are beneficiaries of your efforts; you will not be embarrassed by the vicissitudes of life. God will raise men who will save you from embarrassments that are targeted at you; God will send you men who will save you from public shame.

The days of being shamed and embarrassed without hope or help, are over. Get set: help is coming; men are coming to save you from shame.

Romans 10: 11 says: “For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.”

Declare With Me: I am saved from every public shame and embarrassment, in Jesus’ name!
