This week we begin a new chapter at First Church of God Edmonton. Sunday morning we will be sharing more details about the Restart process and vision. We will be meeting in the fellowship hall and doughnuts will be provided. Please bring your sweet tooth and anyone you think might be interested in joining us on this new adventure.
Masks are still required

This week, the City of Edmonton reinstated a mask bylaw in response to the rising case numbers of COVID-19 in our city. Masks will be required at First Church beginning Friday September 3, 2021. Masks will be available at church entrances. Hand sanitizer will also be available at entrances and throughout the building. We ask that you not attend should you feel ill or have been a close contact of someone with Covid-19. We will continue to provide Zoom services, as well, and the Zoom login will be available every Sunday morning starting at 10:30 am. The service will begin at 11:00 a.m.

As of this Sunday, July 4, masks and social distancing are no longer a requirement at First Church. However, we wish everyone to feel comfortable and safe within our church building, and if you choose to social distance and mask a little longer, we absolutely respect your decision.

We do encourage you to use the hand sanitizer available at the door and throughout the church and ask that you not attend should you feel ill or have been a close contact of someone with Covid-19.

Let’s be kind, loving, and respectful in this next stage of moving forward.

We are thrilled to announce that the First Church building will reopen for in-person worship services beginning this Sunday, June 13!

While we all know that First Church itself has never shut down, it’s so exciting that the BUILDING will once again have open doors.

Not quite ready yet? Never fear! We will continue to Zoom the service, as well, for the foreseeable future. Please use the same login and password as we’ve been using in 2021. (if you require the login please contact us)

Times: The Zoom login will be available every Sunday morning starting at 10:30 am. The service will begin at 11:00 a.m.

Guidelines: We must continue to wear masks and social distance within the church building (no hugs or handshakes for just a little bit longer…), socialize outside and not in the foyer. We will work to make our services comfortable & safe for everyone, proceeding with caution to protect our community and each other, and, also, respecting the AHS guidelines.

Seasons Greetings Friends. For our Christmas service project this year we are helping the mustard seed with their Winter Wishlist please help out if you can. Build your own backpack or mug, or just provide some of the items on the list. You can either drop items off at the church or phone or email us about a porch pick up

Fill a backpack with the following items and give someone in need the basic necessities to get through the season.
