If you mention to a disciple, "I would love to know the Lord Jesus."
"Well, now look, we belong to the certain-certain church, come down and join that, join us." See? Or, "We was…We belong to this certain-certain society, and come join that." And that's what you hear.
But Christ Himself pointed people to His death, and said, "Except a corn of wheat falls into the ground, it abides alone."
Oh, how different it is! Yes, sir. How different! But your life and His Life find each other, not at the church, not in a building, not in a creed, not in good works, but in the cross where you are crucified with Him. That's where you find Christ. You don't find Him by doing better, turning a new page. Starting a new life, you don't find Christ. You find Christ only in death; not in a manger, not in a confession. To believe in certain creeds and fables, you don't find Christ there.
A true servant takes you to Him, and He is the Word.

Now, you want to talk about something ridiculous, let’s look coming down across the hill here now. One beautiful morning, the sun’s arising, the birds whistling, here comes an old man, eighty years old, whiskers flying this way, and a white hair bushing behind him, leading a little old mule with a wife setting astraddle with a young’n on each hip, crooked stick in his hand. Here he goes.
“Where are you going, Moses?”
“Going down to Egypt to take over!” A one man invasion, going to Egypt. Why, Egypt would just be like going over and taking over Russia.
The best mechanized units in the world was right there, but God told him, “I’m going to send you down to take over.”
“Well, you mean you’re going to take over?”
“Sure.”
“Why? By your...”
“Yeah, God said so.” That’s right.
You say, “Are you going to take?”
“Sure, we’re going to take over now. That’s all. God said so.” That’s right. Just as long as God said so, amen. That—that settles it.
If God said so, you can do it. Is that right? Well, then let’s just take over right now, and to tell the devil, that he ain’t going to have no more to do with us. Every sick person’s going to be healed; every blinded eye is going to be opened; every deaf is going to hear; every dumb tongue is going to speak; every sinner is going to fall at the platform and give their hearts to Christ. We’re going to take over. See? God give it to us. Go on over to take over.

We should speak and act today as if this is the last hour we'll ever have. And who knows but what it might be. It may be for some of us, and it may be for all of us. But let's act as if it's our last hour. Let's pray as never before. And let's be a blessing to others, and try to do all we can; for remember, this is only one time that we're mortal.
From this on, from the time that we leave this world, we go into another world, and we'll never have the opportunity to win one soul in that world. All that's going to be won will be won right now. And if this may be our last hour then what should we do on this hour?
