Ways to advocate for :

Gather with friends, colleagues, family, or congregants to wear black on Thursdays and advocate for a world without r**e and violence.

Host a time of sharing to hear from survivors or someone who has worked with survivors of gender-based violence.

Take a photo wearing black and share it on social media with a link to the Thursdays in Black website.

Identify local, national or global ministries/organizations that offer support to victims of gender-based violence and make a contribution with your "Thursdays in Black" group.

This week, our long-serving organ was replaced by a baby grand piano. The piano will be consecrated on Sunday as part of our 10:00 AM liturgy. Please attend if you're able to, and hear the joyful sounds it can make.

Finally, a sign of what we've been creating here over the last number of years!

The last merger requirement was completed recently (CRA updated our charity's name to Burlington Anglican Lutheran Church). Now the sign has been changed as well.

Our community really came together with many people taking on a variety of tasks to get this work done. We're thankful for all the work.
