Progressive Spiritualist Church Inc. Est. 1934. Oldest operating spiritualist church in WA. All are welcome at the Progressive Spiritualists Church (Inc.).

Services at 10am Sunday and 12:30pm on Wednesday. Services include healing prayers, reading and address, and spiritual messages from trained mediums. Meditation and spiritual development take place on Monday at 8pm (doors close 8pm sharp) and Wednesdays at 10:00am (doors close 10am sharp). Spiritual Healing is given Mondays (7pm to 7:50pm) and Wednesdays (11:30am to 12:20am). We are in Highgate, j

ust a little way out from the Perth CBD. Accessible by car, bus (Beaufort Street) & train (East Perth station). Parking is available both on-site and on the street at the front.

COURSE: GETTING TO KNOW YOUR GUIDES

* Starts Monday 8th June *

The Church will be running this popular course in June & July in two separate times as follows:

A. Monday evenings - Starting 8th June (replaces the evening circle)
Starts 8pm sharp, *be early* (doors close at 8pm).
Duration: 1 hour

B. Wednesday mornings - Starting 10th June (replaces the morning circle)
Starts 10am sharp, *be early* (doors close at 10am)
Duration: 1 hour

This course is an introduction to, and meeting, the main parts of your personal guiding structure as follows:
- Personal Guide
- Guardian Angel
- Healing Guide
- Teacher Guide
- Doorkeeper

This is an essential part of working with your guides and a significant step on the spiritual development process.
It is also important for your protection and related personal well being.

It is a good refresher for those who have attended before (people learn more and gain greater contact & understanding).

The course is run in six sessions over consecutive weeks.
Monday & Wednesday sessions are identical in case you need to change days any week.

The first five sessions covers one guide each and are mostly self-contained.
The last session includes "linking these guides together" into a working guiding structure.

Free-will offering applies. No fixed fee.
You can pay by cash or EFT (details at the door or on the website).

Free on-site parking is available at the back & front of the Church.

MOTHERS DAY SERVICE 2026

The Church will be holding its annual Mothers Day Service on Sunday, 10th May.
The service starts at 10am sharp. Please be early.

This lovely and uplifting service is held to celebrate all mothers (birth and
otherwise), those who provide this role to others and the
greater motherhood vibration.
Please come and celebrate this much loved service together with us in honour of all the mothers everywhere, past and present.
* You can also light a candle for a mother (or grandmother, etc.) who has gone home to God, if you wish.

The medium of the day will be Lindy Imms.
Flowers are read. Please bring a small cut flower (ideally from your garden).

The service will be followed by your choice of a morning tea or a light lunch.

All are welcome to attend and participate.
Visitors are always welcomed, including children.

Free-will offering applies. No fixed fee.

An Introduction To Flower Reading
Monday 11th May
8pm - 9pm (Doors close 8pm sharp)

Want to learn how to read a flower?

The Church is holding an Introduction to Flower Reading on Monday 11th May.

Start time is 8pm sharp.
Spiritual healing is available beforehand, if you wish (last client 7:40pm).

You will learn the basics on how to read a flower and have a practice at doing it yourself.

A flower reading is a short clairvoyant message from the higher worlds given to a person, using their flower as the link. It is an uplifting experience, often giving some spiritual insight to the recipient, when done properly.

o It is a form of mediumship used in our Church Services. It is also used in some other spiritualist churches in Perth.

This short session is run by the Church Minister, who is experienced in both flower reading and training students how to read flowers.

This Church operates with the goal of helping people to progress along their spiritual journey, hence our name.

Parking is available at the rear and front of the Church.
Please arrive to be seated ten minutes prior to the start time.

No fixed fee.
Free-will offering (donation) applies. EFT option is available on the day.

No prior experience is necessary. All are welcome to attend.
Come along and try it out for yourself.

ANZAC Day Service 2026

The Church will be holding its annual ANZAC Day Service this Sunday, 26th April.

The service starts at 10am sharp. Please be early.

This is a lovely service and respects the ANZAC tradition of selfless service.
Please come along and light a candle on behalf of those who died during or as a result of service, had loved ones who died or were affected as a result of service and those who were in areas of conflict.
Feel free to wear any service medals of a relative if you wish (on your RHS, LHS is for those who served).

This is a much loved service. Please come and celebrate it with us.

We do have an on-site garden if needed.

MAUNDY THURSDAY SERVICE 2026
This Thursday 6:30pm (2/4)

The Church's annual Maundy Thursday Service will be held this Thursday (2/4), starting 6:30pm sharp. Please be early.

The Maundy Thursday Service is a Holy Communion service to commemorate the Last Supper Jesus had with His disciples on the night before He was crucified (Good Friday).
No Flowers are read.

The Holy Communion is also known as the Eucharist or Mass in various Churches.
Our service is an uplifting and positive service designed to bring each person closer to union with God.

The Maundy Thursday service will be followed by a traditional simple (plain) supper.
Foods for this supper may include cheese, olives, dried fruit, plain bread, etc.
Please ask if unsure or if you have any special food requirements.

All are welcome to attend, especially visitors and children.
You have the choice of either taking Holy Communion or receiving a Blessing Only.
Children under 8 years of age receive a Blessing Only.

Please come and attend the Service with us.
The Easter Services are always special and uplifting, enjoyed by many and remembered throughout the year.

N.B. No collection (donation) is taken on Maundy Thursday.

It is a popular and uplifting service to start the Easter Week and is enjoyed every year by all who attend.

The service is followed by a light morning tea/light lunch.

The Service starts at 10am sharp. Please be arrive early to be seated ten minutes before the start..

Flowers will be read so please bring a small cut flower.

Our Easter Services are as follows:

** COURSE STARTS THIS MONDAY EVENING **

Introduction To Spiritual Healing
(9th March & 16th March 2026)

The Church is running a two week "Introduction To Spiritual Healing" course on Monday evenings: 9th March & 16th March, starting 8pm sharp.

This course replaces the Open Circles (one hour) normally held on these dates.

This short course is designed to introduce participants to spiritual healing, as conducted within this Temple. Both evenings need to be attended in order to complete the course.

All are welcome to attend and participate.
No prerequisites are needed, just an open mind and a willingness to learn!

Please arrive at least10 minutes early.
On-site parking is available.
The Church operates on a free-will offering basis (no fixed fee).

HOLY COMMUNION this Sunday!
Sunday 22nd February

The Church is holding a Holy Communion service this Sunday, 22nd October.
Start time: 10am sharp
Please arrive to be seated 10 minutes early.

The service also celebrates the First Sunday In Lent.
A significant time of year as this is the beginning of the preparation for Easter.

The medium will be Rev. Andrew Dinnie.
No flowers will be read.

This service is a uplifting and healing service, designed to help you get closer to God and bring a sense of peace within.
Our communion services and lunches have been enjoyed by all who attend.
Come and find out for yourself!

Followed by a light lunch: 11:45am (approximate start time).
Please feel free to bring a food offering, especially if you have any special food requirements.

All are welcome to attend and participate.
An easy-to-follow booklet is provided so you need no experience to join in the celebration of Holy Communion.
