BREAKING EVIL ALTARS

🔥That night the Lord said to him, ‘Take the second bull from your father’s herd, the one seven years old. Tear down your father’s altar to Baal and cut down the Asherah pole beside it. Then build a proper kind of altar to the Lord your God…’ (Judges 6:25–26 ).

🔥Altars are spiritual gateways—places of covenant where powers are invoked.
🔥Some altars release blessings, while others release curses, delays, and opposition.
🔥Gideon could not rise to deliver Israel until he first tore down the evil altar in his father’s house and raised an altar to the Lord.
🔥Many times, unseen altars resist us from stepping into our inheritanc because of ancestral covenants, generational patterns, and demonic agreements.
🔥But in Christ, we have the authority to break evil altars and establish the altar of the cross as the only voice over our lives.
🔥This year, you will not be hindered by evil altars.
🔥By the blood of Jesus, every altar speaking against your progress, health, marriage, finances, or ministry is silenced.
🔥 You will stand like Gideon and destroy the old evil altars, and build new altars for the Lord.

PRAYER
🔥No evil altar can rise against me again.
🔥By the blood of Jesus, I silence every voice of opposition.
🔥I raise the altar of Christ over my life, and I walk in freedom, victory, and possession.”
🔥Father, I thank You for the blood of Jesus that speaks better things than any altar.
🔥Today, I tear down every evil altar resisting my inheritance.
🔥I cut off every generational covenant, curse, or limitation.
🔥Let the altar of Christ be established over my life, my family, and my destiny.
🔥From today, no altar can resist my possession, in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen

The Woman at the Well
John 4

🔥It was noon, the hottest part of the day.
🔥Most women came early in the morning when it was cool, laughing and chatting as they filled their jars.
🔥 But she came alone. That detail says a lot. She was avoiding people—or maybe they were avoiding her. Her past had pushed her to the edges of her community.

And that’s exactly where Jesus met her.

🔥By every rule, he shouldn’t have spoken to her at all. He was a Jewish man; she was a Samaritan woman. 🔥Their cultures had been divided for centuries. But Jesus didn’t care about the rules that kept people apart.
🔥He cared about her. He asked for water but offered something far greater—living water. He revealed 🔥He knew everything about her, yet He didn’t turn away. He stayed and treated her with dignity.

🔥The woman left her jar behind and ran to tell the very people she had once avoided.
🔥That’s what grace does. It trades hiding for courage. Shame with purpose. She was all alone a broken woman.

🔥Maybe you can relate. Maybe you’re carrying shame, tired of being judged, keeping your head down.
🔥 Jesus sees all of it and still draws near. You don’t have to fix your life before coming to Him. You just have to show up.

🔥And if you’ve already tasted that living water, don’t keep it to yourself. Someone around you is thirsty and doesn’t even know it.

🔥Today, if you feel like the woman, be honest with Jesus. He already knows and still chooses you. And if you’ve encountered His grace, share your story. A simple conversation could open the door for someone else to be seen, known, and changed.

This is the summary of a sermon preached by Gail Jamieson on the 29th September 2024. Jesus focus from a child was always his fathers business , not the carpentry of his earthly father but his father's business was the salvation of the broken. Luke 3> 23 tells us that Jesus is now 30 years old and about to start his ministry , he has just been baptised and the Holy Spirit led him in the wilderness to be tempted. when we enter into the fullness of God, filled with Spirit, we will put ourselves in the front line of the spiritual battle. The enemy will try to stop you and discourage you even to start ministry work.
After his temptation Jesus walked into the temple and in Luke 4 17-19 , he quoted Isaiah 61 , and declared his mission that he was anointed to preach good news to the poor, to heal the broken hearted and to set the captives free. if you are broken hearted place your heart in god's hand. Allow him to reconstruct the brokenness. Surrender all that is hurting to him. Jesus was sent to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners. Jesus gives the invite ...come to me all of you who are weary and heavy laden, I will give you rest. Peter said lets give all our worries to him because he cares for you. Colossians 1 :13 says God has freed us from the power of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of his dear son. Jesus came to free us from the prison of sinfulness and selfishness. Jesus came to set you free from sin, All you need to do is repent. you turn from sin and run to Jesus.
Jesus will open blind eyes. He not only performed miracles by giving physical sight to blind eyes but he also opened the spiritual eyes of those who couldn't see. Darkness is when we exclude Jesus Christ in everything in our lives. Jesus will open our eyes and show us the way of deliverance. No one can come to the Father unless they go through Jesus. he opens our eyes to him.
Jesus came to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, He came to let the world know that the God that they had offended was willing for them to be reconciled to Him. the acceptable year was the year of Jubilee. It involved the releasing of slaves & prisoners. he came to give us salvation which is for free.
So Jesus mission is our mission, We must proclaim this good news to everyone, we are called to accept this truth and put our trust in Jesus. Then we are to proclaim this truth to the whole world. If you dont know Jesus today, do not hold back, may you give your life to him today. and say this prayer: Pray this aloud: "Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins and surrender my life. Wash me clean. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. That he died on the cross for my sins and rose again on the third day for my Victory, I believe that in my heart and make confession with my mouth, that Jesus is my Savior and Lord. I receive eternal life, in Jesus name, Amen.
We believe that if you prayed that simple prayer, you have been born again. You are starting with a clean slate, and you have entered into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Keep God first place in your life. Learn to pray; prayer is simply talking to God like you would talk to a friend. Mark today's date, write it down in your Bible – this is the day of new beginnings in your life. Amen
