INTO THE DARKNESS, WITH THE LIGHT OF CHRIST

Tonight we walked the streets of perth, a place where many are searching for hope in all the wrong places. Surrounded by the realities of drunkenness, addiction, brokenness, prostitution, violence, and countless other struggles, we were reminded that the Gospel shines brightest where the darkness is deepest.

Jesus did not call us to avoid the darkness—He called us to carry His light into it.

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” — John 1:5

We prayed for strangers, encouraged the hurting, listened to stories of pain, and shared the hope found only in Jesus Christ. Behind every face is a soul that God loves. Behind every addiction is a person Christ died for. Behind every broken life is a story that God can redeem.

Northbridge does not need more condemnation. It needs the transforming power of the Gospel.

“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” — Luke 19:10

The Great Commission is not for pastors alone. It is not for evangelists alone. It is for every believer. We are called to be soldiers on the battlefield, rescuing souls from darkness and pointing them to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

Tonight we sowed seeds. We prayed. We interceded. We stood in the gap for those who may never walk into a church but desperately need an encounter with God.

May the Lord continue to break chains, heal hearts, restore lives, and bring many from darkness into His marvelous light.
