Happy Father’s Day to all the incredible dads in our church! 🩵

Today we celebrate you and the important role you play in your families and in the lives of those around you. Thank you for the way you love, lead, encourage, protect and show up.

We also want to honour the men who may not be dads themselves, but who father others through the way they care, guide, encourage and lead. To our spiritual fathers, mentors and the men who choose to invest in others, what you do matters and we are so grateful for you too. 🫶

We pray that every one of you feels loved, valued and celebrated today.

Tomorrow we get to make a fuss of the dads. 😂🩵

There’ll be games, a bit of friendly competition, plenty of laughs and, of course, FOOD.

We’re putting on some nibbles, but we need your help to fill the table! Please bring a plate of food to share with everyone. Homemade, store-bought, sweet, savoury… we’re not judging. 😂

Grab Dad, Grandad, your mate who’s a dad, or someone who’s been like a dad to you and bring them along.

We talk a lot about wanting the presence of God.

But do we understand the privilege of being able to enter it?

There was a time when people couldn’t simply come boldly into His presence.

Now, because of Jesus, we can.

No curtain.
No separation.
An invitation to come confidently before a holy God.

Maybe the question isn’t whether God’s presence is available to us…

Maybe the question is what we’re doing with the access Jesus gave us.

Are we seeking His presence?

Are we allowing His presence to change us?

And are we carrying His presence beyond the walls of the church to people who desperately need Him?

“Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence.”
Ephesians 3:12
