Logan Connect

Logan Connect Logan Connect aims to connect Logan residents to the resources, relationships and opportunities that promote a flourishing community.

Park Ridge Connect exists to connect people with the resources, relationships and opportunities that promote a flourishing community. If you're a new resident, welcome! We'd love to help you find your way around Park Ridge as easily as possible and help you transition into your new community. Drop in and let us know how we can help you or send us a message here through our Fb page. Park Ridge Conn

ect is a community service of the Park Ridge Baptist Church. Over the last several years, our state and local governments have been planning the development of Park Ridge as a major development area in Southeast Queensland. It is expected that over the next ten to twenty years, Park Ridge will transition from being a quiet rural town with 3000 residents to become a thriving suburban community of more than 40 000 residents. As a local organisation with a long history in and great love for Park Ridge, we have been asking ourselves how we can positively contribute to this transition. Our answer is Park Ridge Connect. The vision of the PRC is to see Park Ridge develop into a well connected community of people whose lives intersect in diverse and life-giving ways. Our mission is to welcome new residents to Park Ridge and connect them with the people, history, organisations, information, products and services they need to thrive in their community.

GOOD NEWS STORIES | This week we had a wonderful 'Neighbour' who was really keen to look after her place. A generous supporter of NiN donated a lawn mower which was then passed on to our neighbour who was in need. She was SO excited because now she can mow her lawn whenever she wants to! How good is that!

The Priority Project is working across the Gold Coast, Logan and surrounds to connect women experiencing domestic and family violence with safe, stable housing in the private rental market.

How you can help:

🏡 Landlords – Speak with your property manager about listing your property through The Priority Project if it is to be rented out soon. Your investment could provide life-changing stability for a woman who has experienced DFV.

🏢 Real estate agents / property managers – Start the conversation with your landlords about partnering with us. We provide support to both tenants and property owners to help create successful, sustainable tenancies

🤝 Services – Please refer eligible women who may benefit from private rental access

If you’d like more information or to discuss how to get involved, feel free to reach out to TPP

Thank you to our sewing volunteers who have helped some at-risk young parents.

Here's a before and after of a different kind. Our sewing volunteers have been busy making baby burp cloths which are donated to The Sewing Lair who in turn pass them on to Sewing for Charity Australia. These burp cloths are used to support at-risk young parents.
