Dear Church Family,

I hope this message finds you well. Due to the severe weather conditions expected from Cyclone Alfred, we regret to inform you that our church will be closed this Sabbath. The latest reports indicate that Thursday, Friday, and Saturday are forecasted to be dangerous days, with gale force winds and the potential for flooding.

While it is possible that this cyclone may fizzle out or impact our area less severely than anticipated, based on the information we currently have, we believe it is safer to close the church. The high winds, anticipated flooding, unsafe road conditions, and the possibility of losing electricity and water on church property all contribute to this decision.

Although we will not be able to gather in person, we plan to hold our services online. We will send out links for Zoom Sabbath School and will also stream a sermon. Please note that this online service will only be possible if we have electricity and a stable internet connection.

Let us come together in prayer for Cyclone Alfred, asking for protection and minimal damage. Your safety is our priority, so please take the necessary precautions to stay safe throughout this storm.
