In the year that King Uzziah died ... I saw the Lord!

Praying the other day, this verse from Isaiah 6 floated through my imagination. Historically, Uzziah was the Elon Musk of Ancient times, and he was a King. Isaiah was his subject and this encounter with heaven ocurred, soon after the kings death.

Holy Spirit whispered to me, 'dont worry about a king that dies, a job thats lost or a disruption in your life. It could be the catalyst for a life changing encounter that redirects your life toward more joy, satisfaction, fruitfulness, love and laughter.

There is a world that is aching for what you carry. Let your kings (idols) fall over and die if necessary. Maybe just maybe the Lord is waiting at this juncture. Have a blessed day.

This is what I hear being whispered in the spirit. The trouble you’ve had, the scars you bear, the limp in your walk. God is repurposing it.
We’ve been singing along;

He turns graves into gardens, he turns seas into highways, he turns bones into armies …

Let’s believe that in 2023, the things you survived will be repurposed for your future. You are going to get where you need to be a whole lot faster and with more joy, when Holy Spirit can repurpose your pain.

PRAYER FOR NATIONS - Ukraine 2022

Our Father in Heaven, May your name be kept holy. We honour you as the King of all Creation. As sons and daughters, we accept your invitation to ask for nations. Let the circumstances in Ukraine submit to the prayers of the saints. Let your kingdom break through the darkness of war and may the Light of the Gospel beam into the middle of this conflict, and disperse seeds of hope in Jesus name and for His glory.

Especially Lord, we pray for the Church in Ukraine. We stand with our sisters and brothers who are both fleeing and fighting for peace in their nation. Protect, provide and deliver them by your power. Holy Spirit we thank you that your word abides in their hearts to release the peace that passes understanding. We declare open corridors of safety and supernatural sources of food, water, and protection from the elements. You have placed a witness in Ukraine and we thank you for new mercy for those who serve each day. Grant opportunities for them to speak and to demonstrate the Gospel. The words and work of every believer has scattered incorruptible seeds all across this nation. We speak life, and water them with our prayers so they will now produce fruit. Let a sound arise in the spirit that ripples into time and space, and position labourers so this message of grace is heard.

Lord, you are the Prince of Peace and we know that the head of our enemy is being crushed as we pray. Grant wisdom and favour to rulers who make decisions. We, as heralds of the power of heaven, announce Peace, Liberty, Grace and Salvation across Europe. Use this prayer as a weapon to disseminate your great love to people everywhere, in Jesus' magnificent name, Amen.

Following Jesus and believing for God's Kingdom to come is not determined by who is in government is or who is not .... in my view.

It is, rather, determined by the Church, her passion for His Presence and her Voice echoing into the Spirit realm, 'Your Kingdom Come and Your Will be Done ... on earth as it is in heaven" ... for our wrestle is NOT against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers ...

We remember that God used a donkey for His purposes in the scriptures, so I call every Jesus' follower to return to their mandate. Let's pray, prophesy and believe, that not even the gates of hell can stand against the Church in Revival. God can use elections, and he can move despite them. The Proverbs remind us that 'man makes their plans but God determines the outcome'

There is no record of Jesus, Paul or the disciples looking to the governments of their day to usher in the work of God, but they moved forward in spite of them.

Lord, we refocus our eyes on you alone. Lead us to be passionate about your Church, to pray for Revival to be germinated from her, to be present to the world in the way that you demonstrated ... and we declare our commitment to 'preach the Good News' in ways that invite others in, and then to love them in Your magnificent name. Amen
