🔥 INTRODUCTION
Beloved, there is a level of praise that comes because everything is going well and there is another level of praise that comes because you know who God is!
It is easy to praise God when the prayer has been answered.
It is easy to worship when the job has come.
It is easy to give thanks when the doctor has given a good report.
It is easy to rejoice when the marriage has worked out, when the breakthrough has manifested and when the testimony is already in your hands.
But the real question is:
> What happens to your praise when you have prayed, fasted and cried, yet nothing has happened?
What happens when heaven seems silent?
What happens when you have been believing God for months and you are still waiting?
What happens when you receive bad news?
Will you still be devoted to God?
#🔥 1. FERVENTY IS DEVOTION THAT DOES NOT DEPEND ON CIRCUMSTANCES
Romans 12:11 says:
> “Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.”
Spiritual fervency means being deeply committed, passionate and sincere in your walk with God.
It means you don't serve God only because of what He gives you.
You don't worship Him only because He has answered your prayer.
You worship Him because He is God!
Your circumstances may change.
Your emotions may change.
People may change.
Your finances may change.
Your environment may change.
But God does not change!
Therefore, your devotion must not be controlled by your circumstances
🔥 2. WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN GOD HAS NOT YET ANSWERED?
Look at David in 2 Samuel 12:16.
David had prayed.
David had fasted.
David pleaded with God concerning the child.
He refused food and spent the night lying on the ground.
Why?
Because David believed that God could still intervene.
Even when the situation looked impossible, David did not abandon God.
This is where many believers struggle.
They say:
“I prayed, but nothing happened.”
“I fasted, but nothing changed.”
“I believed, but I am still waiting.”
And because they didn't see the manifestation they expected, they slowly reduced their prayer life, reduced their worship and became spiritually cold.
But hear me:
Your waiting season is not permission to stop worshipping God!
Sometimes the greatest proof of your faith is not how loudly you praise God after the testimony.
It is how sincerely you worship Him before the testimony comes.
🔥 3. WHEN BAD NEWS COMES, DRAW CLOSER TO GOD
When you receive bad news, the devil will give you a thousand reasons to stop praising.
He will tell you:
“You see? God has forgotten you.”
“Your prayers are useless.”
“Why are you still going to church?”
“Why are you still praying?”
“Why are you still giving thanks?”
But don't allow the devil to interpret your situation for you!
# # # When bad news comes, increase your devotion!
Pray more.
Worship more.
Study the Word more.
Seek God more.
Not because you are pretending that the problem doesn't exist but because you know that the problem is not greater than your God.
# 🔥 4. CAN YOU PRAISE GOD BEFORE YOU SEE HIS KINDNESS MANIFEST?
This is the question of spiritual maturity.
Can you praise God when you are still waiting?
Can you worship when the job is not there?
Can you remain faithful when the doors have not opened?
Can you still thank Him when you don't understand what He is doing?
Can you say:
> “Lord, even if I don't understand You, I still trust You.”
That is devotion!
Many people measure their relationship with God by what they can see.
But faith does not operate only by sight.
2 Corinthians 5:7 reminds us that we walk by faith, not by sight.
What you see today is not the full story of your life.
What you have lost cannot be compared with what God has in store for you!
Therefore, don't allow yesterday's loss to re**rd today's praise
🔥 5. JESUS SHOWED US WHAT SPIRITUAL FERVENCY LOOKS LIKE
In John 2:13–17, Jesus went into the temple and found people turning the house of God into a marketplace.
He drove them out and said:
“Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.”
Then His disciples remembered what was written:
> “The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.”
> — John 2:17
Jesus was consumed by zeal for the house of God.
He was not casual about the things of God.
There was passion.
There was conviction.
There was seriousness.
There was devotion.
And this is the question for us today:
Are you consumed by the way you worship God?
Or has worship become a routine?
Do you worship because everybody else is worshipping?
Do you praise because the music is good?
Or do you praise because something inside you knows:
“God has been too good to me for me to remain silent!”
# 🔥 6. DON'T PRAISE MEN MORE THAN YOU PRAISE GOD
There are people who can celebrate a human being for hours but struggle to spend a few minutes worshipping God.
They can shout for a celebrity.
They can become emotional over people.
They can admire what men have achieved.
But when it comes to God, their praise becomes weak.
Don't give human beings the devotion that belongs to God.
Men can help you.
Men can bless you.
Men can open doors.
But ultimately:
God is the source!
Therefore, your greatest celebration must always return to Him.
# 🔥 7. WHAT ABOUT WHEN THE JOB IS NOT THERE?
Maybe you have been applying.
Maybe you have attended interviews.
Maybe you have fasted.
Maybe you have prayed.
And yet, there is still no job.
Don't let unemployment change your relationship with God.
Don't allow lack to make you bitter.
Don't allow delay to make you spiritually cold.
Instead say:
“Lord, while I am waiting for the job, I will serve You.”
“While I am waiting for the marriage, I will serve You.”
“While I am waiting for the healing, I will worship You.”
“While I am waiting for the breakthrough, I will remain faithful.”
Because when you understand God correctly, your relationship with Him will no longer be based on what He gives you.
You will love Him for who He is.
🔥 8. TRUE WORSHIP MUST COME FROM THE SPIRIT AND FROM TRUTH
Jesus said in John 4:24:
> “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”
God is not looking for empty performance.
God is looking for sincerity.
God is looking for genuine worship.
God is looking for a heart that truly belongs to Him.
must be sincere.
must be genuine.
must come with gratitude.
If your daily life is aligned with God, your worship becomes more sincere.
Because you are not merely singing about God—you are living for God.
# 🔥 9. REMEMBER GOD IN YOUR DAILY LIFE
Don't remember God only on Sunday.
Remember Him in your workplace.
Remember Him in your business.
Remember Him in your relationships.
Remember Him when you are making decisions.
Remember Him when nobody is watching.
Remember Him when you have money.
Remember Him when you have nothing.
Remember Him when you are celebrated.
Remember Him when you are forgotten.
God be part of your everyday life.
Every step you take, remember God.
Every decision you make, remember God.
Every door you enter, remember God.
# 🔥 10. DON'T RE**RD YOUR PRAISE!
Some people have become silent because of what they have gone through.
They used to praise loudly.
They used to pray passionately.
They used to serve faithfully.
But something happened.
A disappointment came.
A prayer was delayed.
Someone betrayed them.
A relationship ended.
A job disappeared.
A door closed.
And suddenly, their praise disappeared.
But today, God is calling you back to fervency!
Don't let what happened to you determine how you worship God.
Don't let your pain steal your praise.
Don't let your disappointment silence your thanksgiving.
ARE YOU RE**RDING YOUR PRAISE?
God is still God!
He is still faithful!
He is still worthy!
He is still working!
He is still your Father!
# 🔥 11. PRAISE GOD BECAUSE HE IS GOD
Psalm 69:9 says:
> “For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.”
There must be something burning inside you for God.
A fire that says:
“I will worship Him!”
“I will serve Him!”
“I will praise Him!”
“I will remain faithful!”
Not because everything is perfect.
But because God is worthy.
# 🔥 CONCLUSION: HOW DEVOTED ARE YOU?
Today, God is asking each one of us:
devoted are you to Me?
Will you still pray when the answer is delayed?
Will you still praise when the job is not there?
Will you still worship when the manifestation has not yet come?
Will you still serve when nobody appreciates you?
Will you still trust when you don't understand?
greatest praise is not the praise you give after the miracle.
greatest praise is the praise you give while you are waiting for the miracle.
Anybody can praise God after receiving.
But it takes faith to praise God before seeing.
So today, let your worship rise again.
Let your prayer life rise again.
Let your passion rise again.
Let your devotion rise again.
Let the fire burn again!
# 🔥 DECLARATION
I WILL NOT LOSE MY FIRE!
I will not allow disappointment to silence me.
I will not allow delay to weaken my faith.
I will not allow bad news to separate me from God.
I will worship Him in the waiting.
I will praise Him in the process.
I will trust Him in the uncertainty.
I will serve Him in every season.
My God cannot fail!
My God is faithful!
My God is working!
And even before I see the manifestation, I WILL PRAISE HIM!
🔥🔥🔥 I WILL REMAIN FERVENT!
🔥🔥🔥 I WILL REMAIN DEVOTED!
🔥🔥🔥 I WILL REMAIN FAITHFUL!
For He alone is worthy of all my praise, all my worship and all my thanksgiving!
🙌 CONGRATULATIONS, AND GOD BLESS YOU! 🙌

What a glorious Alpha Thanksgiving Morning Service! 🔥🙌
We were reminded that true spiritual fervency is not determined by what we have received, but by how deeply we are devoted to God.
Even when the answer is delayed, even when the job is not there, even when the manifestation has not yet come. God remains worthy of our praise!
We will not allow disappointment to steal our worship. We will not allow delay to silence our thanksgiving. Our God cannot fail!🔥
