our statement of faith
1. we believe in the whole bible as being divinely inspired, infallible and without error. we also believe the word of God as the supreme and final authority in all issues of faith and conduct. we believe the word of God cannot be altered by either addition or subtraction. 2 timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21, Psalm 119:89, Revelation 22:18-19
2. We believe in one God who is et
ernal and exists in three persons namely the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and He is the creator of heaven and earth and all things. 1 John 5:7; Matthew 28:19; Genesis 1:1; Colossians 1:16
3. We believe in the Lordship of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, his virgin birth, his human sinless life, his divine ministry on earth, his death on the cross, burial and bodily resurrection, his ascension, his power and glory and his second coming at the sound of the trumpet. 1 Thessalonians 4: 14-16
4. We believe in the Name of Jesus as the name above all names and that through his name we are saved. We believe in the forgiveness of sin through the redemption blood of Jesus. for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23, Hebrews 9:22
6. We believe in the person of the Holy Spirit, whose mandate is to glorify the father by convicting us of sin, righteousness and judgment. We believe everyone who has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and saviour must be filled with the Holy Spirit to be able to live a holy life that glorifies God. John 16:8; Ephesians 5:18, Galatians 5:16
7. We believe that all believers in Christ should live by faith in Christ who is the hope of glory. Habakkuk 2:4, 2 Corinthians 5:7
8. We believe that believers should always meet to encourage each other, pray and worship together in unity, harmony, in one faith and purpose. Hebrews 10:25, Psalms 133:1
9. We believe that the mandate of the church is to fulfill the great commission. Mark 16:15-18, Mathew 28:19-20
10. We believe in the full existence of heaven and hell and that there is life after death. Matthew 24:30, Acts 7:55-56
11. We believe in the full manifestation of all gifts of the Holy Spirit in the church. 1 Corinthians 12:14-11
