He didn’t hide his scars. He told his story.
He went to rehab. He relapsed. He went to rehab again.
That is not failure, that is a man fighting for his life, his family, and his purpose.
This is why we must talk.
Because absent fathers don’t disappear overnight, they break down silently.
Because when men fall, our children carry the weight.
Because silence has cost us mentorship, guidance, and futures.
This is a reminder that healing is messy, growth is uncomfortable, and accountability is powerful. As a community, we must stop giving up on our men and start walking with them. When we restore men, we restore homes. When we restore homes, we secure the legacy we leave behind.
It takes a village to raise a child and courage to rise again.
