I need to address this matter . .
For too long, many women who genuinely love Jesus and are clearly called by God have been told to remain silent, sit down, or stay on the sidelines. Yet when we honestly read Scripture, we see a different picture.
God poured out His Spirit on sons and daughters. Deborah led Israel as a prophetess and judge. Priscilla helped teach and disciple believers. Phoebe served as a trusted leader in the church. Junia was recognized among the apostles.
The issue has never been whether God can use women. Scripture already answers that question.
When people quote 1 Timothy 2:12 as a blanket prohibition against all women in ministry for all time, they often overlook the context of the passage, the situation in Ephesus, and the many examples of women whom God used powerfully throughout both the Old and New Testaments.
Paul himself acknowledged women praying and prophesying publicly. The Holy Spirit distributes gifts without distinction of gender. The Kingdom of God advances through obedience to God's calling, not through human preferences.
Sadly, there are still many men who have not yet come to understand the fullness of God's power, revelation, and purpose concerning the calling He places upon women's lives. This is not always because of malice, but often because of tradition, misunderstanding, or teachings that have limited what they believe God can do through His daughters. When we fail to recognize whom God has called, we risk resisting the very work of the Holy Spirit.
At the same time, this conversation is not about elevating women above men or disregarding biblical order. Scripture teaches that men and women have value, purpose, and responsibility in the Kingdom of God. We are not saying that women are above the head or seeking authority for authority's sake. Rather, we affirm that both men and women are called to serve God's purposes according to His will and gifting.
This is not about competition between men and women. It is not about rebellion against biblical order. It is about recognizing and honoring the people whom God Himself has called, equipped, and sent.
In these last days, God is looking for willing vessels. Whether male or female, young or old, God uses those who surrender themselves to Him. The Holy Spirit is not limited by human expectations. Throughout Scripture and throughout history, God has chosen ordinary people who were willing to obey His voice and carry His message.
The Church is strongest when men and women work together in unity, honoring one another and advancing the Gospel side by side. When we celebrate God's calling on each other's lives rather than resisting it, the Kingdom is strengthened and Christ is glorified.
To every woman carrying a genuine call from God: do not allow fear, tradition, or the opinions of people to silence what God has spoken over your life. Stay humble. Stay submitted to Christ. Stay rooted in Scripture. But do not bury the gift that God has entrusted to you.
And to every man, be open to the leading of the Holy Spirit and willing to recognize God's hand wherever He chooses to move. Let Scripture, not tradition alone, shape your understanding of whom God can use.
The question is not whether God uses women.
The question is whether we will accept whom God has called.
