Renewal Reflections | Thy Kingdom Come

Yesterday we concluded our series “The King and His Kingdom” with a message titled “Thy Kingdom Come: A Call for Prayer.”

As citizens of God’s Kingdom, we are called to be people of prayer. Jesus said, “My house shall be called a house of prayer” (Mark 11:15–17), reminding us that prayer is not merely something we do but an essential part of our relationship with God.

We were reminded that true prayer is simple and persistent. When we pray, God aligns our hearts and thoughts with His desires (James 5:16–18). Prayer brings us closer to God, gives Him glory, and shifts our focus from ourselves to the interests of the King.

If we desire to have influence in the Kingdom, prayer must become our main business. Just as those who walked closely with God throughout Scripture depended on prayer, we too are called to make prayer a priority.

Jesus said, “My house shall be called a house of prayer,” and as citizens of His Kingdom, we choose to live according to His Word.

Renewal Reflections | Demonstrating the Kingdom

Yesterday, we continued our series, “The King and His Kingdom,” with a powerful message on demonstrating the Kingdom. We were reminded that the Kingdom of God is not merely a matter of words, but of power.

“For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.” — 1 Corinthians 4:20

God’s power should be evident in our lives. As citizens of His Kingdom, we are called to reflect His power and demonstrate His Kingdom through the way we live, serve and walk in the authority of our King.

Jesus demonstrated the Kingdom by healing the sick, setting people free and revealing the power of God. In the same way, we are called to go beyond simply speaking about the Kingdom and allow God’s power to be seen through us.

Matthew 10:7–8 reminds us:
“As you go, preach this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven is near.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.”

May we be a people who don’t just talk about the Kingdom, but demonstrate it through the power of God working in and through our lives.

May His Kingdom be seen through us. 🙌🏼
