WOMEN'S CONNECT| Stepping out, breathing deep, and moving together! 🌱
There’s something sacred about sharing the trail, trading stories, and soaking in the rich green canopy and fresh mountain air with an incredible community of women.

In many ways, the path mimics faith: we have to wait for each other when the climb gets steep, look back to find each other when the mist rolls in, and relentlessly cheer each other on through every unexpected incline.

From the steady rhythm of our footsteps to the shared laughs along the path, every moment reminded me of how much strength we draw from one another when we walk in step.

Deeply grateful for the good energy, the uplifting conversations, and the grace we extended to one another at the hike this past week. Here’s to lifting each other up, finding our stride, and making space for community in the great outdoors! πŸ₯ΎπŸ€

We pause to deeply appreciate the women of our church community, both young and old, whose unwavering faith, boundless compassion, and tireless hands form the very heartbeat of our shared spiritual home.

LET'S FINISH THE RACE WK. 2: DISSATISFACTION, DEDICATION & DIRECTION| "Satan may remind us of our past but God keeps our mind on the goal" - Min. Zonge Xoshe πŸ’œπŸ–€πŸ€


We thank God for the powerful insights shared in this Sunday's message from Min. Zonge Xoshe, reminding us that while Satan may remind us of our past, God reminds us of the goal.

As we unpacked Philippians 3, we traced how chapters 1 through 4 guide us from single-mindedness to a spiritual mind and finally a secure mind. Paul models this beautifully, behaving almost like an accountantβ€”carefully counting what is behind so that unaddressed baggage doesn't catch up and disturb the journey, while also weighing what is ahead against the surpassing value of Christ.

Stepping into the mindset of an athlete, Paul shows us that running this race requires intention across three key pillars:

Embrace a healthy dissatisfaction: Reminding us that "not that I have already attained it," Paul teaches that this race prioritizes vulnerability and endurance over perfection.

Practice unwavering dedication: Pressing on requires a singular, devoted effort toward the "one thing" God gives us to help endure the course.

Maintain spiritual direction: True forgetting doesn't mean erasing history from memory; it means refusing to let the past dictate our present and future. To press forward, we must forget and focus.

God sees where you are in your walk. He acknowledges the weight of your stride, but His grace is sufficient to keep you moving toward the prize.

LET'S FINISH THE RACE| "Sometimes, you need to prioritize finishing over winning. " - Min. Zonge Xoshe πŸ€πŸ’œπŸ–€
We thank God for the powerful truth that resonated through this Sunday's message, reminding us of the intentional mindset required as we press toward the goal of our faith.

As Min. Zonge Xoshe broke open Philippians 3, we were challenged to look closely at how we run our spiritual race:

* Count what is behind you: We recognized the danger of leaving past baggage unaddressed, as it can catch up and trip us as we head toward the finish line.

* Count what is ahead: We learned to keep our focus locked forward so future distractions never rob us of our contentment in Christ.

* Redefine the victory: We accepted that while we may not win by worldly metrics, the true calling is simply to finish the course.

* Embrace the trials: We understood that finishing requires persevering through the difficult, often God-ordained obstacles that refine our character.

* Personalize your journey: We realized we must own our unique walk with God rather than comparing our stride to anyone else's.

Let's keep walking together through this series as we continue to learn what it is to finish the race.

A FESTIVAL IN THE WILDERNESS| Behaving counterintuitive or contrary to your environment. πŸ’œ
When called upon to give reasons for the freedom of his kin, Moses gave a reason that makes no sense. He tells Pharoah that God wants His people freed so they may make a celebration for Him in the wilderness.

The environment and the response don't match but isn't that just like God at times? At times obedience looks like behaving counterintuitively to our environment. Doing the unexpected, foolish or seemingly diminishing thing. However, God knows why He wants to be praised in the wilderness. His aim is to train us to obey Him.
