The Victory That Overcomes
1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
There is a victory that does not depend on your salary, there is a victory that does not depend on your connections, there is a victory that does not depend on your circumstances. There is a victory that is born inside you the very moment you become a child of God. John says whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world. Not some. Not a few. Whatsoever. That means if you are born again, overcoming is not a suggestion; it is your nature. You do not chase victory; victory lives in you. The world will throw sickness at you, the world will throw debt at you, even your closest associate will throw betrayal and discouragement at you, but the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead is breathing inside you. Romans 8:37 says we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. Your faith is the victory. Not your muscle. Not your money. Not your mind. Your faith. When you believe what God has said about you more than what the world says about you, you become unstoppable.
Child of God, stop accepting defeat as your normal. Stop speaking the language of the victim. The world has a system designed to wear you down, but you have a Savior who has already worn the crown of thorns and declared that it is finished. First Corinthians 15:57 says thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. The victory is a gift. You did not earn it, and you cannot lose it. Every time the enemy whispers that you are finished, open your mouth and declare that you are born of God and you have already overcome. Your faith is the proof. Your faith is the weapon. Your faith is the victory that overcomes the world. Glory to God!
Prayer Points:
1. O God, let the victory that overcomes the world manifest in every area of my life, in the name of Jesus.
2. Every power of the world assigned to defeat me, be overcome by the fire of God, in the name of Jesus.
3. I declare that my faith is strong, I declare that my faith is alive, I declare that my faith is producing total victory, in the name of Jesus.
4. I refuse to live as a victim; I walk as a victor that is born of God, in the name of Jesus.
5. Thank You Lord, because the victory is mine through Christ Jesus, in Jesus mighty name. Amen!
God bless you
