Hi Ladies 😊

Just a quick note about the picnic baskets for the conference weekend at Mentors Country Estate.

It’s the venue’s policy that no outside food or picnic baskets can be brought in — and as GKW we need to stick to their house rules. This applies to all their events, not just ours.

The good news is their menu is amazing and the prices are really reasonable. Let’s make it part of the fun and try their food together as a group!

Ladies, we are getting SO excited for what God has in store for us at God's Karoo Women Conference 2026 — 30 October to 1 November at Mentors Country Estate, Jeffreys Bay! 🙌

Before you arrive, there's another little thing we need to talk about — your GKW Access Band. Small but mighty, this little band is your best friend for the entire weekend. Here's everything you need to know 👇

🎽 WHAT IS YOUR ACCESS BAND?

Your access band is your proof of registration, proof of payment, and your key to entry into the main hall and onto Mentors Country Estate grounds. Think of it as your weekend passport. 🛂✨

No band = no entry. It's that simple — and it's that important.

💚 WHY DOES THIS MATTER SO MUCH?

Just like you can't walk into the Kirkwood Wildsfees or big music concert without your ticket or wristband, the same principle applies here. These systems exist for good reason — safety, accountability, and making sure every single person on the property is registered, paid for, and taken care of. 🙏

Mentors Country Estate needs to know that everyone on their grounds is legally and officially there. Your band is what makes that possible. It protects you, it protects the event, and it protects everyone around you.

📌 THE IMPORTANT DETAILS — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

✅ Wear your band on your wrist — and your wrist only at all times while on Mentors grounds
✅ Your band is fully washable — no need to remove it for showering or bathing, it's designed for that 🚿
✅ Do NOT share or swap your band with another lady — your band is registered to YOU
✅ If you arrive at the hall without your band on your wrist, you will be refused entry
✅ Lost or missing bands will require a new registration fee to reissue — these bands come at a significant cost to the GKW Conference, and reissuing them is not a small thing

🌸 A WORD FROM OUR HEARTS

We know our GKW ladies are women of integrity, and we say all of this not to be harsh — but because we've invested significantly in this system to give you the best, most organised, most enjoyable weekend possible. The band is part of that structure. It's part of us loving you well. 💛

So please — the moment you receive your band, put it on your wrist and leave it there until you get home Sunday. That's it. Easy. 😊

Sweet ladies, as we count down to our beautiful weekend together at God's Karoo Women Conference — 30 October to 1 November at Mentors Country Estate, Jeffreys Bay, we want to share something close to our hearts.

Mentors Country Estate is our gracious venue host for this weekend. They have opened their beautiful grounds to us, and as their guests, it is our privilege — and our responsibility — to honour and respect their policies. 🙏

🧺 PLEASE NOTE — NO COOLER BOXES, LARGE COFFEE FLASKS OR PICNIC BASKETS ON MENTORS GROUNDS

We know some of you are planners (we see you! 😄), and you may have prepared snacks or drinks in advance for the weekend — and that's completely okay! However, we kindly ask that any personal food and drinks be enjoyed outside of Mentors' grounds gates before you come in.

Here's why this matters so much to us as a community 👇

💚 MENTORS IS GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR US

The team at Mentors Country Estate is going to great lengths and significant cost to ensure that fresh, quality, and affordable food is available to every single one of us throughout the weekend. From the Snack Bar kiosk to Lavazza coffee — they are serving us with care. ☕🥐

When we bring in our own food and drinks, it directly impacts their ability to sustain that effort — and that's not the spirit we carry as GKW women. 💛

We are guests on their property, and Mentors reserves the right to request that cooler boxes, flasks, and picnic baskets be removed from their grounds. We trust that our ladies will receive this with the grace and understanding that defines who we are.

🎟️ WHY MEAL TICKETS?
We love you, and we love your time. Meal tickets mean NO cash handling at the food kiosk, faster service, less waiting, and more time doing what matters — being present with your sisters. 💛

💚 HOW IT WORKS — SO SIMPLE!

✅ Buy your meal tickets in R50 or R100 denominations at the event
✅ Each ticket is split into smaller R5 and R10 values — like your own little spending wallet for the weekend
✅ All food items at the Snack Bar kiosk are priced in R5 increments — no awkward change, no delays

💛 When God moves a mountain to get you to the right place...

Karen Swart's story gives me goosebumps every time I read it. 🙌

She watched from a distance for years - wishing she could be part of God's Karoo Women, but the distance just made it impossible. Year after year, the longing was there. And then one day, a friend called and said, "We're hiring a house for 17 women - do you want to come?"

And it was in Jeffreysbaai.

She said YES without hesitation - and this will now be her 4th year attending. Not once has she regretted it.

"Every year God had a message for me. Every time I received spiritual uplifting... God has given me more than I expected."

That right there is why we do this. That's the heartbeat of God's Karoo Women - not just an event, but an encounter. A place where you arrive with great expectations and still leave overwhelmed by how much more God gives.

If you've been on the fence, wondering if it's worth it — Karen's answer is a resounding yes. 💛🙏
