Friendship Service in Jeffrey’s Bay District: Thornhill Congregation was visited by our dear District Rector, Shepherd Peter La Bercensie. Bible Text was read from 1 John 5:8 - The saving effects of the Sacraments.
The Local Rector Pr Potgieter was called to assist.
After the divine service there was a presentation done for our sisters on female health and wellness, due to it being woman's month by our Deacon Sharon Isaacs, District Coordinator for Health and Wellness in our area.
The event was concluded with fellowship for all our visiting guests and congregants.

As part of our Sunday School programme for 2026 , this date was dedicated to All our Ministers presenting Sunday school, RI and Confirmation classes.

🏕️ UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN | CONFIRMATION CAMP 2026

One camp. One unforgettable weekend. One beautiful journey of faith. 💛

As Confirmation Camp 2026 comes to an end, our confirmands leave with much more than photographs.
They arrived with their bags on Friday and, over the course of the weekend, shared meals, tackled challenges, worked as teams, made new friends, laughed together and had meaningful conversations about faith, identity and the commitment they are preparing to make at Confirmation.

This morning, they gathered around God's word and were reminded to:
🙏 Stay in the battle of faith
✨ Be a witness of Jesus Christ
🤝 Remain in the fellowship of the believers

Now, one final group photo captures hundreds of individual experiences and one shared journey towards Confirmation. 📸❤️

May the friendships continue, may the lessons remain, and above all, may their faith continue to grow long after the camp bags have been unpacked.
God bless our 2026 Confirmands on the journey ahead. 🙏

JayBay District Area: Sunday School and Young People Coordinator online hybrid annual training session .
Venue : Hankey Congregation
Date : 15 August '26 (9-12)
Theme : Planning for succession in leadership.
Equipping potential leaders by :
1) Setting goals for their growth,
2) Giving them gradual
responsibility,
3) Allowing room for error...
# Sis Sharon (Dist Health and Wellness coordinator did a presentation on the subject of health and the woman (August: woman's month).
Every attendee received a bookmaker as a token of appreciation.
The event was concluded with fellowship and lunch.
A special thanku to Sis Estel Petersen and team for hosting a blessed and successful workshop...💒🙌🙏💝📖💻📽

JayBay District Area: Dare2Care - A long awaited special event for our young people "4 the youth by the youth" 31 July - 02 Aug 2026.
Friday night fellowships held at different venues throughout out District Area.
Saturday was Fun, games and a Do Good Project with a purpose.
Sunday @ 11:00 Audio Visually Transmited Divine service conducted by our Dear District Apostle Peter Lambert from Saxonsea Congregation.
The bible word = Colossians 3 and verse 12.
Main Extracts :
# Kindness
# Humility
# Meekness
# Patience
The characteristics (garment)of Jesus we need to grow into.
