Thanksgiving Day commemorates God's perfect work. On the first Sunday of October, a divine service is held in which gratitude is expressed for God's faithfulness to His creation.

On this occasion, believers are called to bring a special offering of thanks to our heavenly Father and reflect on how we can show our gratitude to God.

Fundamental principles of the gospel.

Today's Friendship divine service was officiated by our Rector, Priest du Bois who was assisted by Priest Gordon.

The Bible word is from The Gospel of John 1 5 : 8.

"And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one".

Message :
We receive salvation in Christ visibly by receiving the sacraments.

Friendship Day concluded with fellowship with our guests, after which our Priests left to serve our members who could not attend due to ill-health.

A huge Thank You dear Brothers, Sisters and Friends for your generosity and support of our Friendship Bazaar today.

Under the watchful eye of our friends, The Cape Doctor, the Black South Easter, we came together, giving from the heart and sharing in faith.

Now we look forward to the Divine Service with our Friends tomorrow, carrying the spirit of love and fellowship into that special day.

On Saturday 29 August, we hosted our WOMAN, offering them a range of pamper services, from oral and dental care, hair care, diagnostic tests, vital tests, mani-and-pedicures, Reproductive Health, Child Health, something to eat-and-drink...and all of this took place in a pleasant and enjoyable atmosphere.
A special word of thanks to Sister Marzelle Gordon and her team who coordinated the event, to Sr Susan Stewart, representing CoCT's Gordons Bay Clinic, our partners in Community Wellness, PHAMBILI and everyone who contributed to the success of the day.
