Mission
Africa Outreaches – Church planting and growth for the Free Baptist Church, supporting these church communities in rural Malawi and Mozambique. SA Outreaches – Church planting and growth, supporting the church communities of the Free Baptist Church. Mission Support – Working with and supporting other Missions / Organizations financially and/or supplying in any needs to further their work.

Training Missionaries / Evangelists – To prepare them for fulltime ministry.

2. Children’s Ministry
Kids Games / Holiday Bible School / Schools / Services / Children's Ministry Training.

3. Outreach
Personal Work (one on one outreach) /
Evening Bible School Classes (e.g. Marriage, Communication, Fundamental Biblical Topics).

4. Equipping Believers
JAM website - Audio Sermons / Tracts / Booklets / Articles / Evangelism / Bible Study Materials / JAM Bookshop. Equip and support fellow believers with the necessary tools to make a difference in their local communities.

5. Prep Year
JAM forms part of the Just Africa Life Skills preparation year which is built on Fundamental Biblical Truths and Christian Beliefs. The students at the prep year are involved in outreach programs in our local community and go with Just Africa Mission on our annual Africa mission outreach to Malawi and Mozambique.

What JAM is about

1. Mission JAM works with the Free Baptist Church of South Africa in their mission to Africa. We visit these churches and communities annually and supply them with the necessary tools and training to grow their churches and better their communities. We also plant new churches, help with material to build their buildings and supply the necessary material to repair the old ones.

Training Missionaries / Evangelists – To prepare them for fulltime ministry. 2. Children’s Ministry JAM Children’s Ministry focuses on children ages 12 and under. Children Evangelism is extremely important as 85% of the commitments made to Christ will be made by children between the ages of 4 and 14. This is also a crucial age where a big impact can be made on the life of a child, by teaching them to make good decisions.

Outreach Once a person is saved they need to get actively involved in working to further the Kingdom of God, this is done by equipping themselves with the necessary knowledge to become mature Christians who makes a difference. Bible study is of utmost importance and also having basic life skills along with Bible knowledge will create an active and effective Christian worker.

Youth Work JAM Youth Work basically involves reaching out to youth through any means available. “Youth” often means the time between childhood and adulthood (maturity). “Youth” is best understood as a period of transition from the dependence of childhood to adulthood’s independence and awareness of our interdependence as members of a community. Youth is a more fluid category than a fixed age-group. JAM is focussed on helping young people to make this transition into adulthood, which proves to be difficult as many young people today struggle to become independent and mature.

Equipping Believers Equip and support fellow believers with the necessary tools to make a difference in their local communities.

Prep Year The JAM preparation year can be viewed as a formative year for young adults to become independent and learn a great deal of responsibility prior to engaging in University life. The JAM prep year consists of internships, learning a trade, volunteer work, all for the purpose of improving in knowledge, maturity, decision-making, leadership and independence, self-sufficiency and more. This is intended to expand the mind, personal confidence, experiences, and interests thus improving their resumes before going to college/university. The prep year is built on Fundamental Biblical Truths and Christian Beliefs.

The students at the JAM prep year will also be involved in the weekly outreach programs in our local community and go with Just Africa Mission on our annual Africa mission outreach to Malawi and Mozambique.
